3 HOME SEARCH Use this to find applications quickly. Type in a word and the Cloud will give you suggestions. Shows the tiles of your open applications. Will display a Help overlay. Will log you out of the Cloud. DEFAULT The applications on this row will always be listed. RECENT These applications are the most recently accessed by the user. FAVORITES Users can add applications to their favorites row by richt-clicking on a tile, then Add to Favorites. MENU BAR Click on any of the Menu Items to access different applications. Users can also navigate the different menu items by clicking anywhere on the Cloud desktop and then swiping through either with your finger (mobil devices) or the computer s mouse. Menu Items are: Home, MyTiles, MyAccount, MyResources, MySchool and MyStudent. Tiles are added to MyTiles TILE Each menu item has its own set of tiles. Each tile represents an application. Clicking on a tile will open that application. The smaller the browser window, the fewer tiles you will see. If not all tiles fit, an extra menu item will be added in the Menu Bar. DESKTOP Right-clicking on the Cloud desktop will give you an option to personalize the look of the Cloud, e.g. by chosing a different background, under Options > Settings 3 Go back to Content >

4 Changing the Cloud s Background, Tile Size, Default Menu or Favorites. Personalizing Your Cloud Adding applications to your Favorites row. Right-click anywhere on the Cloud s desktop and select Options......then select Settings. 1 2 Add applications to your Favorites row on the Home page by either going to the Settings as described on the left, OR......right-click on a tile, and choose Add to Favorites. Adding Tiles to the MyTiles page. Go back to Content > Change the Wallpaper (=background), tile size, or set your favorites or Default Menu. 3 Right-click anywhere on the desktop and select Add Tile. Add your personal websites for quick access. 4

5 MyAccount ADD STUDENTS Manually add a student to your Parent Cloud. PIN number is required. FEEDBACK Give us your opinion on how the Parent Cloud can be improved. HELP Additional support page with links to a video and other support materials. PARENTAL CONTROL View the list of people who have access to your student s information in the Parent Cloud. As a parent you can remove anyone, except another parent, from the list. CHALLENGE QUESTIONS Set your challenge questions to be answered if you have to reset your password. PASSWORD Change your password to access the Cloud. SYSTEM CHECK Is your device compatible with the Parent Cloud? This window will let you know. 5 Go back to Content >

6 MyResources ANTI-BULLYING A comprehensive resource for parents. Respect for All gives you information on what to do or where to report bullying. COLLEGE PLANNING You may have accessed Naviance before. This is a great planning tool for your college bound students. Manage passwords in the Password Manager. CURRICULUM Pick a grade level or subject and download your child s curriculum through this easy application. PARKS and RECREATION Find activities and events, as well as numerous resources through a direct link to the Austin Parks and Recreation Department website. PUBLIC DASHBOARD Interested in data? Find out about our student population, compare district TAKS data, or see how many years of experience our teachers have. PUBLIC LIBRARY Helping your student with homework gets easier with a direct link to the Austin Public Library website. SCHOOL FINDER Find your family s designated school by entering the zipcode, streetname and gradelevel. Go back to Content > 6

7 MySchool CALENDAR Download the AISD Academic Calendar with information on Teacher-Parent conference dates, holidays and other imprtant dates. CAMPUS FACTS General information on your child s school such as Mission and Goals statement and Programs offered. CAMPUS INFORMATION Address, phone numbers and website link for each child s campus. FORMS Download forms for PE, Health and other Departments. MAP TO CAMPUS Direct links to Google Maps displaying the location of your student s school. LUNCH MENU Wondering what your student s lunch options are? Lunch and breakfast menus for the current and following weeks. STAFF Find phone numbers and addresses for all staff at your student s school. TESTING CALENDAR Find dates for State and National tests such as STAAR, TELPAS, EOC, SAT and ACT. 7 Go back to Content >

GRADUATION PLANNING Find out if your student has all the credits she needs to graduate. MY LUNCH MONEY Set up your login information to MyLunchMoney once, and from now on you will go straight to your account. MY MESSAGES How do you want to be contacted? Set your messaging options here. PARENT SELF- SERVE Check your student s grades and attendance. Formerly Gradespeed. SCHEDULE Which class will your student be in at 9:55AM? This Schedule will tell you. VACCINATIONS RECORD Which Vaccinations has your student had so far? The Department of Health record right here! VACCINATIONS DUE Which vaccinations are due?
