Déclinés selon les bandes de fréquences exploitables (169 MHz, 433 MHz, 719 MHz et MHz), les modules PE.Stone sont articulés autour d un cœur 32 bits ARM Cortex-M3 et d un émetteur/récepteur RF Sub-GHz. Disponibles en boîtiers LGA à montage en surface de 16 x 30 x 3 mm, ils se caractérisent par une variété d interfaces (GPIO, UART, I 2 C, CAN, temporisateurs, etc.) et par une consommation typique inférieure à 5 µa en mode sommeil profond (20 ma en émission, 10 ma en réception). Au niveau logiciel, ces modules supportent un environnement d exécution propre à Paradox Engineering (PE.Stone OS) et deux piles réseau : l une intégralement IPv6 (PE.Stone OSrS) et l autre implémentant une couche 6LoWPAN améliorée, plus spécifiquement dédiée aux réseaux IEEE à ultrabasse consommation déployés dans les environnements industriels ou résidentiels (PE.Stone OSrD).
