When the lock key is under locking state, it s no use to stroke any operation key. Open the lock switch to resume to normal function of keys. If the MP4 is down or does not work normally due to wrong operation or other reasons, please push the POWER to OFF and then push it back to ON. Product Introduction Moveable Disk Function Computer Connection Use the USB connection wire accompanying the MP4 to enable moveable disk functions, such as: exchanging data between the player and PC, copying and deleting files and file management. Please make sure the player is on before the connection; after inserting USB cable, the player will display connection menu and the icon will appear on the right bottom corner of the computer; click My Computer and you can see the two new disk symbols; now the player can be used as a moveable disk. One of the two symbols is EMS memory disk symbol and the other is for MINI SD car (this dick can not be open when there is not MINI SD card). Open the EMS memory disk symbol and there are five folders: VIDEO, AUDIO, EBOOK, GAME and PICTURE

4 Note: 1. Please make sure to use the USB connection cable accompanying the MP4 or the same model USB connection cable; the uncertain connection cable may cause connection failure or damage the player. 2. The MP4 must be on when it s connected with PC, or the PC may not find the moveable disk; user must place the files into the corresponding folder, or the player will not be able to recognize. When the expansion card is used, the system will automatically create these folders; the file storage rules are also consistent with the above rules before the player can normally recognize the files. Computer Operation Startup & Shutdown 1. Push POWER key to ON position and long press B key to start the player. 2. Push POWER key TO OFF position or long press B key to shut down the player. Charging This produce uses lithium cells as power source; when the MP4 indicates lower power, it can be used again only after being charged with the charger. Use the charger accompanying the MP4 to connect the player and now the MP4 is in charging state and the charging indicator light is in red. The MP4 needs to be charged for 3-4 hours every time and it s better to charge it under shutdown state. If the MP4 will not be used for long time, please push POWER to OFF position. 1. Please make sure to use the charger accompanying the device. 2. If the player heats or shows other abnormal signs during the charging process, please disconnect the charger power immediately and contact the dealer or the after-sales service department of our company. Overview Push POWER key to ON, and press B key to boot and enter the main menu; there are 11 menus: video play, audio play, picture browse, photographing, video shooting, recording, game, study, tools, system configuration, radio ; press up/down key to select the corresponding menu and press PLAY key to confirm the operation.! Press in the key operation means short press, Long Press means press the key for about 3 seconds.! As MP4 has different available functions, the main menu will have multiple interface styles, but the corresponding function and the operation will not change along the interface style; the manual will be applicable; please see the actual product demonstration. Video Play Press PLAY key to enter video brose interface and short press up/down key to select the video to be played; press PLAY key to start play and long press PLAY key to return. 1. In the video browse interface, long press A key to enter video submenu, and there are six submenus there: display mode, circulation mode, file protection, file deletion, video output, exit ; short press up/down key to move between different menus and short press VOL+ key to enter the next level menu; press VOL- key to return to the previous level menu and press PLAY key to confirm and exit. Display mode: list, thumbnail; circulation mode: current, all, random; file protection: lock, unlock. You can lock the selected file; you can enter the menu to select unlock to release the file. File deletion: current, all. Delete Current will delete the currently selected file; Delete All will delete all files. Note: After file is deleted, the file will permanently disappear and you can never find the deleted file in the MP4. 2. During playing, short press PLAY key to pause. Short press up/down key to select previous/next; long press up/down key to fast rewind/fast forward; press VOL-/VOL+ key to decrease/increase volume; long press PLAY key to return to the main menu

5 3. Video output: LCD output, NETC mode output, PAL mode output. This function needs support of external video cable (AV cable) to connect the player with TV set; NTSC mode and PAL mode are the two modes of TV set; you can receive effective color signal only when you select the suitable mode. Now the screen of TV set will be converted to display of player and now you can play video files on TV set. Note: If the TV set is connected, please select PAL/NTSC to enter, and now you can press up/down key to select the file to be played. Press PLAY key to enter video play. Long press PLAY key to return to LCD screen output display; long press PLAY key again to return to the main menu. Audio Play Press PLAY key to enter audio play selection menu; short press up/down key to select the audio file to play; press PLAY key to play and long press PLAY key to return. 1. On audio browse interface, press A key to enter audio submenu, and there are 6 menus: circulation mode, file protection, file deletion, sound effect mode, low power mode, exit ; short press up/down key to move between all the menus; short press right key to enter the next level menu and long press PLAY key to confirm and exit. Circulation mode: Current, all, random. File protection: lock, unlock. Files deletion: current, all. Sound effect mode: normal, undertone, rock, jazz, pop, fervor. Low power mode: never, half minute, minute, three minutes. 2. When playing music, long press PLAY key to pause; press up/down key to select previous/next song; long press up/down key for fast rewind/fast forward; short press VOL - /VOL+ key to reduce or increase volume; press A key to enter sound effect mode conversion; press B key to enter repetitive mode conversion; long press PLAY key to return to main menu. Picture Browse Press PLAY to enter the picture browse interface, short press up/down key to select the picture to play and press PLAY to play. 1. On the picture browse interface, long press A key to enter picture submenu and you ll see 7 submenus: display mode, file protection, file deletion, desktop background, boot menu, shutdown menu, exit. Short press up/down key to move between the menus; short press VOL+ key to enter the next level menu; press PLAY to confirm and exit. 2. When playing pictures, short press up/down key to change the displaying picture; long press PLAY key to return to the main menu. Note: when setting up desktop background, boot menu and shutdown menu, the system needs 2-3 seconds to read information, so as to save the information; it s better to set the definition of boot menu and shutdown menu to 320*240, or the menu will not be set successfully or the menu effect will not be good; if you want to restore the default setting parameter, you must enter the system configuration to select default setting. Photograph Press PLAY key to enter photograph view-finding work mode; you can press up/down key to adjust the times of amplification/minification. Press B key to take photos, and the photo will be automatically saved. When you enter the camera view-finding mode, press A key to enter the 11 submenus: photographing mode, photo size, photo quality, special effect, mode, white balance, acutance, sensitization, AE mode, FLASH MODE and exit. Photographing mode: you can select the three modes single-shot, continuous shot, self-shot. Photo size: you can set the size of photos to be one of the 6 types: 320* *480,1280*960,2048*1536,2448*1632,2592*1944 ; press OK to confirm. Photo quality: You can set up the photo quality to be high, middle and low. Special effect: You can select normal mode, negative mode, SOLARIS mode, embossment mode, AINARIESV, SEPIA mode, white and black mode according to your own desire. White balance (WB): automatic, daylight, cloudy sky, incandescence light, fluorescence light - 4 -

6 Acutance (WDGE) : +2,+1,0,-1,-2 Sensibility (SENSE): AUTO, ISO50, ISO100, ISO200 AE MODE;50HZ, 60HZ FLASH MODE:FLASH OFF, LASH AUTO(Astigmatism Light on/off selection) DV Shooting Press PLAY key to enter shooting view-finding mode; you can press up/down key to adjust the times of amplification/minification. Press B key to start shooting; after the shooting is completed, press B key to save the shooting content. Long press PLAY key and you can return to the main menu. After you enter the shooting view-finding mode, camera view-finding mode, long press A key to enter the eight submenus: video size, video quality, special effect, white balance, acutance, sensitization, AE mode and exit Video size: you can adjust the video size to 160*128 and 320*240. Video Quality: high, middle, low Special effect: You can select normal, negative, SOLARIS, embossment, AINARIESV, SEPIA, white and black according to your own desire. White balance (WB): automatic, daylight, cloudy sky, incandescence light, fluorescence light Acutance (WDGE) : +2,+1,0,-1,-2 Sensibility (SENSE): AUTO, ISO50, ISO100, ISO200 AE MODE;50HZ, 60HZ Record Press PLAY key to enter recording submenu; this player has built-in microphone for recording. Press PLAY key to start recording and press PLAY key again to pause. Long press PLAY key to stop recording and long press PLAY key to return to the main menu. Game Press OK key to enter game list interface; now long press A key to pop up game setting menu; file protection: lock, unlock; file deletion: current, all; video output: LCD output, NTSC mode output, PAL mode output; press up/down key to move and press PLAY key to confirm. When entering the game list interface: press up/down key to select the game to be operated, press PLAY key to enter the game and press PLAY key to start the game. The brief introduction of the operational keys is as follows: Combination directional key control object to move up, down, left and right; A jump key; B quick shooting key (running fire); PLAY PAUSE; long press PLAY key to return to main menu exit game menu. Note: the game storage file is saved in moveable disk/game. Study Dictionary: On the system main interface, press direction key to select study function; press PLAY key to confirm; select dictionary again and press PLAY key to enter. Long Press PLAY to exit. 1. Move cursor to the English-Chinese input switch icon (right of letter P), press PLAY key and you ll see the two options of English-digit-symbol/Pinyin ; press up/down key for selection and press PLAY key to confirm. 2. English-Chinese dictionary using method: After selecting English-digit-symbol, namely the English-Chinese dictionary function, press OK key to enter word lookup interface, press directional key to move cursor; after selecting correct letter, press OK key to confirm letter; after input the whole word, press A key to display the translation of the word; press A key to read aloud the currently displayed work; press A key again, when the associated words under the input box displays background color, press up/down key to move; the right side will display the Chinese translation of the corresponding Chinese word; press A key, when the input box display the background color, switch to input state and continue to lookup the next word

Usage Method of Chinese-English Dictionary When Pinyin, namely Chinese-English dictionary function is selected, press PLAY key to enter Chinese-English lookup interface; press directional key to move cursor and select correct Pinyin letters, then press PLAY key to confirm. After the complete Pinyin is input, press A key and the screen will display corresponding Chinese, press directional key to move options, after move to the correct Chinese, press PLAY key to confirm. After all the Chinese characters have been input, press A key to display English words. Now when the associated words under the input box display background color, press up/down key to move and the right side will display English; press A key again, when the input box has background color, switch to input state and go on to look up the next word. 4. When wrong letters or Chinese character is input, execute key to delete the current letter or Chinese character. 5. Exit: Press ESC key to return to Study menu.! Electronic book: the format of electronic book is TXT. 1. Press directional key to select study function and press PLAY key to confirm; select electronic book and press PLAY to confirm and enter. Press up/down key to move up/down to next line; press VOL-/VOL+ key to scroll to the previous or next page; 2. At the electronic book list menu, long press A key to pop up file setting menu, such as file protection and file deletion. Press ESC key to exit; 3. In the electronic reading state, long press A key to pop up file setting menu, such as lookup, continue to look up, exit. Press PLAY key to enter the corresponding menu. Note: The electronic book is saved in folder (moveable disk):/ebook. Tool Press directional key to move cursor to select tool, press PLAY key to confirm, long press PLAY key to exit. Eternal Calendar The left side of the screen displays the current year, month, day, week day; press A key to select year, month and day; the right side displays the date of lunar calendar. Note: The eternal calendar is only used to display the date; if you want to set up date, you must enter the system setting/time setting option to set up the calendar. Calculator Press directional key to move cursor for selection. Press PLAY key to confirm. Notepad It is equivalent to electronic book function; you can use it to read electronic book; but the notepad can be used to create document or edit Chinese and English text. Storage Management Display the current memory using status, set work area, format EMS memory; press PLAY key to confirm. When MINI SD card is inserted before MP4 booting, you can set MINI SD as current work area, and now it will display the space size and the using status of MINI SD. System Setting Under the system main interface, press directional key to select system setting ; press PLAY key to confirm and enter the main interface of the system setting work mode; now the directional key can be used to select the options to be set; press PLAY key to enter setting. Language Selection: There are two options: English and Simplified Chinese ; Move the cursor with up/down key; press PLAY key to confirm. Default parameter (original manufacturer setting) This function can restore all the parameters to original ex-factory state. Now press UP/DOWN key to select whether or not to restore, press PLAY key to confirm and return. Sound Setting This function is use to turn on or off the built-in speaker and the keystroke tone. Press up/down key to select to turn on or off; press ESC key to cancel the setting; press PLAY key to confirm and return. Note: Whether or not the built-in speaker is on or off, you can hear the earphone output sound after you insert the earphone. However, when the TV OUT is used, please turn off the built-in speaker to avoid consuming too much power and prevent the TV screen from twittering

8 Automatic Shutdown This function adjusts the waiting time from the last keystroke to automatic shutdown in the standby state of each work mode. Select Never and the MP4 will not automatically shut down. Now press up/down key and VOL-/VOL+ key to select; Press PLAY key to confirm and return to the main interface of the system setting. Interface Style The two interface styles of Eternal Love and Perfect World can be selected; select any of the two styles and press PLAY key to confirm. Time Setting After entering time setting mode, press VOL-/VOL+ key to move cursor: up/down key for adjusting current time; after setting the time, press PLAY key to confirm and return. Note: This function is optional function. Lower Power Mode After entering time setting mode, press up/down key to select time: press PLAY key to confirm and return. Radio This function is optional and some MP4 do not have this function; users should refer to the actual product. Enter Radio Work Mode Press directional key in the system main interface to select Radio icon, press PLAY key to confirm and you can enter the interface of radio work mode; now press up/down key to select radio stations. Press A key to select the three menus automatic search, manual search and channel search Automatic search: select this menu and press PLAY key, and the player will start to automatic search and save radio stations. Manual search: select this menu and press up/down key for fine tuning and select radio stations. When a radio station is searched, press PLAY key to save the radio station; press up/down key/play key to confirm and save. Channel search: press up/down key to select channel. Appendix Installation of Driver for USB Key This device supports Windows2000 or above operation system and you don t need to install driver. If you re using Windows 98 or ME, you must install WIN98 driver before you can use the USB function of this device. Insert the accompanied CD into CD-ROM of the PC. In the On state of the device, use USB cable to connect this device with the PC. Now PC screen will display the menu of requiring install USB driver. Click Next button and select Search updated driver (recommendation) in the dialog box and click Next button. Tick the option specify location (L) in the dialog box and press Browse button. Click USB driver folder in CD and click OK button. Click Next button and the interface to confirm the installation will appear: Click Next button to install USB driver. After the installation, restart the PC. Connect the device with PC and double click My Computer, and you can see the moveable disk symbol, which indicates the USB driver has been installed successfully. Conversion Software The conversion software in the accompany CD can convert multiple video format files (VCD, DVD) into *.3GP/MP4/AVI video formats. Note: You can refer to the detailed description of the HELP in the software for the installation method and the conversion method of the conversion software. 1. Launch the installation program of the video conversion tool, select installation language and click Next button; 2. Enter the installation interface and click Next button; 3. Input your name and the name of your company, and click Next button. If you want to return, please click Previous button; to cancel the installation, please press Cancel button; 4. Select the installation path (you can click change button to change the installation path) and click Next button. If you want to return, please click Previous button; to cancel the installation, please press Cancel button; 5. After the installation completes, please click Complete to exit; 6. After the completion completes, the system will prompt to reboot according to demand. Please select Yes to immediately reboot the computer and complete the installation process of the program. (If you do not reboot the computer in compliance with the request, the program will not be able to convert the media file)

9 Note: The corresponding plug-in will pop up during the installation process; please make sure to install the corresponding plug-in, so the software can be used normally, Usage of Conversion Software: 1. Select normal conversion button and the normal video conversion interface will appear. 2. Click Open button to select the source file (you can select multiple files in one directory or in different directories at the same time). Click Open to save the selected file and return. Click Cancel to cancel the selection and return: 3. The interface after inputting the file selection: the selected file and the path display in the list box under source file. 4. Click Browse button to select the directory to save the target file. After selecting the directory, click OK to save the selected directory and return; click Cancel to cancel the selected directory and return; 5. Select the target file: the directory of the target file is displayed in output file editing box. 6. If you need to set parameters of the target file, please click parameter setting button; 7. After the parameter setting, return to normal conversion interface; 8. Click Convert button to convert; 9. Conversion completes. If you need to convert the file again, please repeat the above procedures. Copy the converted video files to the VIDEO folder and you can play the file on the device. Convert Picture Document The conversion tool will convert the picture file into JPG format; the default output maximum picture is 1024*768. The operation of picture conversion is almost the same with that of video file conversion. Copy the converted picture files to PICTURE folder of this device and you can play the files in the device. Convert Music Files in CD You can convert the music files in CD into MP3 format with this tool, The default property of the converted MP3 file is: 128KAPS.44100HZ.Stereo. Please refer to the operation of video file conversion and finally save it as MP3 format. Copy the converted music file to AUDIO folder of this device and ten you can play the files with this device.
