Please indicate NA if not applicable: Total Students entering the program with a Master's degree and would like to exempt courses they have already been taken may submit copies of their syllabi for faculty consideration. Faculty will compare the student's syllabi with current program syllabi and also consider the students grade when determining exemptions. We will only consider these requests once a student has been officially admitted to the program, we will not review syllabi of applicants. University policy prohibits the transfer of any credits that have already been applied to another degree.
2 Program Costs Description st -year Cohort Cost Tuition for full-time students (in-state) $2, Tuition for full-time students (out-of-state) $5, Tuition per credit hour for part-time students (if applicable enter amount; if not applicable enter "NA" ) N/A University/institution fees or costs $1, Additional estimated fees or costs to students (e.g. books, travel, etc.) $15,000 Student Funding Information: Students in the Counseling Psychology Program are funded through a variety of sources: (a) University Merit and Diversity Fellowships, (b) departmental teaching and research assistantships, (c) grant-funded research assistantships, (d) departmental support assistantships in the Counseling and Assessment Clinic, (f) College of Education and Human Development strategic fellowships and (f) other fellowships. Additionally, some students receive graduate assistantships through other departments. Historically, we have been able to provide some funding to all students for some or all of the time they are in the program. Assistantships for 20-hours per week include tuition remission for 9 credits in Fall or Spring and 6 credits in Summer, as well as benefits; fees and any additional tuition will be the responsibility of the student. Similarly, Merit and Diversity cover 9 credits of tuition.
