1 Time to Completion for all students entering the program Outcome Total number of students with doctoral degree conferred on transcript Year in which Degrees were Conferred Mean number of years to complete the program Median number of years to complete the program Time to Degree Ranges N % N % N % N % N % N % N % N % Students in less than 5 years Students in 5 years Students in 6 years Students in 7 years Students in more than 7 years Total Also, please describe or provide a link to program admissions policies that allow students to enter with credit for prior graduate work, and the expected implications for time to completion. Please indicate NA if not applicable: Note: A maximum of 12 approved credits may be acceptable as transfer credits from another university, 18 from Teachers College, Columbia University. The student and his or her advisor meet to determine which courses are transferable. Neither practica, independent study, workshops, fieldwork, nor general-level courses at other universities are transferable. Typically, courses that are transferable are those that are directly equivalent to one of our required or elective classes. Due to practicum requirements, transferred credits do not affect the time to completion.

2 Program Costs Description Tuition for full-time students (in-state) Tuition for full-time students (out-of-state) Tuition per credit hour for part-time students (if applicable enter amount; if not applicable enter "NA") University/institution fees or costs Additional estimated fees or costs to students (e.g. books, travel, etc.) st -year Cohort Cost $1454 per credit $1454 per credit NA $428 College Fee per semester + $442 Health Fee per semester = $1740 $3,477 Health Insurance + $2,408 Books and Supplies + $5,256 Travel Allowance + $ Personal Expenses + $19,368 Living Expenses (Room and Board) = $47,987 Note: Financial aid is available through several sources. In the last few years, the College has begun to fully fund (for three years) 3-4 of our incoming doctoral students. In addition, full funding is sometimes available via faculty research grants, though of course those monies are available only to students working directly for that specific faculty member. Estimated annual budgets are based on the TC Cost of Attendance for a part-time student taking 12 credits/year (over nine months); budgeted figures may be different for those enrolling in more or less credits. All students enrolled in 12 or more credits and/or living in the residence halls are required to have health insurance coverage (TC or external). Full-time students/those living on-campus are automatically enrolled in TC's basic health insurance; this coverage may be waived with proper proof of external coverage. The basic health insurance will cover you from Sep. 1, 2015 to Aug. 31, More information is available here:
