Construction Wrap up Administration Commercial Broker $200M Revenue Designed and developed a system used to transact, track and administer construction wrap up insurance programs. This system became the primary system of the Commercial Property Division to manage all large account construction insurance programs. Deferred Compensation Management Commercial Broker $200M Revenue Designed and developed a web based system used to manage elections and balances of executive deferred compensation plans. This system became the primary customer service platform for the Executive Benefits Division. Client Extranet Platform Commercial Broker $50M Revenue Designed and developed a custom extranet platform for all commercial clients that provides access to all insurance placement information at any time in a self service web based environment. The system aggregates information and documentation from multiple systems and presents it in a fully secured web interface. Medical Malpractice Program Management Commercial Broker $65M Revenue Designed and developed a system used to manage large complex medical malpractice insurance placements. This system provides the capability to run multiple insurance programs with a minimum of staff and carries the transaction from inquiry to policy binding to claims management. The system was designed to be rapidly deployable for multiple clients with differing program/fronting requirements due to its modular design. Large Account Multi Layer Broker System Commercial Broker $100M Revenue Designed and developed a web based transaction system used to broker large, multilayered professional liability insurance programs. This system was the first application of technology to the brokerage process connecting brokers, carriers and insured in a secure web based collaboration system. Underwriting System Wholesale Broker $100M Premium Designed and developed an online wholesale underwriting system for a wholesale broker with full binding authority. The system automates the underwriting of small non complex risks and provides a transactional environment for underwriters to conduct business on more complex risks. 5 Industry Initiatives Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB) Serve as Director of Strategic Technology working with Council member firms to redefine technology processing in the insurance distribution space. Develop strategies to drive innovation and change for the insurance brokerage industry. Work directly with the Council's 200 member firms to improve process, workflow and customer service capabilities through the use of innovative technologies. Advocate on behalf of the Council's member firms with technology vendors, industry groups and federal and state government. Chair the Council's CIO Working Group, bringing together member firm CIO, COO and CFO's to discuss and develop strategies for using technology to drive agency growth. Author of the monthly column "Strategic Revolution" for Leader's Edge Magazine, focused on change, innovation and technology in the insurance brokerage industry.
