6 Insurance Health Insurance Resource Partnership for healthcare information and resources What this means for you... The Affordable Care Act (ACA): A New Resource to Help Guide You Through The Office of Jeff Schaffer is a specialty office focusing largely on assisting the self employed, individuals and families, and small business owners with health insurance options. Because most of our members fit that description, we wanted to partner with a service that could serve you. We are happy to introduce to you, as listed in the latest version of our handbook, a Health Insurance Resource that is new to us, but has a long-respected history among the Financial Community. As an association, we can't set up a true-group health insurance plan. And with so many members in so many states with all the various state mandates and insurance rules, it would be difficult to do so anyway. But Jeff's Office is licensed across the US and works to customize each plan to each member, their business and their family. Even in the rare cases when they can't directly help a member due to some certain state rules, they have key referral offices in every major city that they will connect you with to get you exactly what you want and need for your health insurance. The ACA enrollment process will stretch throughout 2014, even if the most critical Initial Enrollment Period is now, and lasts through March. But as many Member's coverage's renew next year, and most are required to drop their health insurance for an ACA qualified plan, Jeff's Office will be there to assist you and to offer a broad array of carriers and plans as needed.
