4 4 Phone Measurement while drilling (MWD) tools MWD tools are generally used for real-time directional borehole survey applications. The tool uses accelerometers and magnetometers to measure the inclination and direction of the wellbore. The generated data is directly transmitted to the surface by using mud pulse technology. These measurements allow the determination of the wellbore path and position in the three-dimensional space. We supply MWD systems in four sizes: 31 2", 43 4", 63 4" and 95 8". Stand 07/ " MWD tool
