11 Hunterdon County Diviion of Road, Bridge, and Engineering One example of Hunterdon County commitment to the hitoric rehabilitation of it hitoric bridge i the work completed on the 1878 Roemont-Raven Rock Road Bridge, a wrought iron and cat iron Pratt through tru bridge in Delaware Townhip. A econd example i the Stanton Station Road Bridge in Raritan and Readington Townhip, a ingle-pan tru upported on random ahlar abutment. Both retoration project emphaized improving phyical condition while retaining original material and context of the original bridge deign. Innovation Rehabilitation of the Screen Houe at the Red Mill Mueum Village, Clinton, Hunterdon County The Screen Houe erved a a cruhed tone orter during the complex quarry operation period which began in Cloed for many year due to deterioration and afety concern, the building recently reopened with a new tair, obervation deck and rehabilitated the mechanical equipment that operate an interactive exhibit. The project wa funded in part by a grant from the New Jerey Cultural Trut. Special Award Garry Wheeler Stone For hi dedication to the hitoric development of the Monmouth Battlefield State Park in Manalapan, Monmouth County Garry Wheeler Stone wa ynonymou with Monmouth Battlefield for 25 year. When Garry arrived at Monmouth Battlefield the Viitor Center wa tale, the diplay didn t work, the building were crumbling, the landcape had lot it hitoric character, and our knowledge of the ebb and flow of battle wa unure. Through Garry alway energetic effort, we have a deep undertanding of the event of the battle. The Battlefield itelf ha been enlarged through new acquiition, the landcape ha been retored, building have been preerved, and a wonderful new viitor center with new exhibit make Monmouth Battlefield a detination within New Jerey Park Sytem. She wa recognized by the New Jerey Hitorical Commiion with an Award of Recognition in 2003, and received the John Cotton Dana Award for her contribution to New Jerey mueum from the New Jerey Aociation of Mueum in Rachel Rodger Dolhanczyk ha worked in the mueum field for nearly 20 year, a a curator, adminitrator and educator. She trive to bring underrepreented communitie and their torie to exhibit and program, mot notably with the African American community. Over the pat 10 year, he ha erved a the Curator/Archivit of the Nah African American Hitory Archive at the Center for Community Art in Cape May. In 2004, M. Dolhanczyk received an Award of Recognition from the NJ Hitorical Commiion for her outtanding ervice to the public knowledge and preervation of New Jerey hitory. Caandra Duffey, a Director of Community Development for the Borough of Collingwood manage branding, media relation, contituent relation, graphic deign, copywriting, ocial media, event, communication couneling and community and buine development. Currently, he work jointly for Collingwood Partner, the Borough Buine Improvement Ditrict, and the Borough of Collingwood managing municipal matter. M. Duffey ha played a key role in managing Collingwood profile and marketing and pearheaded uch project a the Collingwood Parklet and annual Yarnbomb which have reulted in ignificant media coverage for the Borough. Jane Mitchell Eliaof i the Executive Director of the Montclair Hitorical Society, an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to preerving local hitory, educating the community about it and it importance, and haring the torie of the people who have haped Montclair. M. Eliaof ha expanded the torie MHS tell to be more incluive and reflect the rich diverity of the community. MHS YWCA initiative wa deigned to recapture the hitory of the Irael Crane Houe, which erved a a YWCA for African American women and girl in the firt half of the 20th century. Marie Enni i a partner at Old Structure Engineering, PC, a tructural engineering conulting firm for hitoric and older building, and ha 28 year of experience in the invetigation, analyi, repair, and retoration of hitoric building and monument. Many of the firm project involve local landmark, National Regiter propertie, and World Monument Fund ite. A licened profeional engineer, M. Enni hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Univerity of New Hamphire, and a M.S. in Hitoric Preervation from Columbia Univerity. She i currently collaborating to develop a Preervation Engineering certificate program at Manhattan College.
