1 BYOD - Setting up Access on your ios mobile device This document provides step-by-step instructions for setting up corporate account on your ios mobile device. Note: The TruMobi application is a Cognizant application. Please be sure to comply with the Cognizant IT and workplace acceptable use policy while using this application. In order to strengthen the security of your mobile device, when the TruMobi application is installed, you will be asked to update your device passcode. You will need to use a four digit passcode. Never use your TruMobi application for personal use. Use is monitored for system administration, to identify or investigate inappropriate access and use, and for other business purposes, as permitted by law. Be sure to close the TruMobi application before allowing anyone else to use your mobile device. If you backup and restore your mobile device or restore to a different mobile device, you will have to reinstall the TruMobi application. The application will only operate on an authorized device. If your mobile device is lost or stolen or if you believe your device has been compromised by a virus or other malicious software, you must report it immediately by raising a ticket with GSD support. Cognizant may choose to remove the TruMobi application and your associated application data at its sole discretion. However, this should not impact any other applications or data residing on your mobile device. Support: TruMobi supports ios versions 6.0 and above. You need to have TruHub installed on your mobile device in order to use the TruMobi application. TruHub must remain on your device. Uninstalling TruHub will wipe out the entire TruMobi Connect app data. If you face any difficulty completing the setup or have any queries related to TruMobi, please refer to the FAQ section of the guide. If the issue or query remains unresolved, please raise a GSD request under Networks & System Services > BYOD TruMobi. PAGE 1

2 Getting ready to set up Step 1 If you already have Cognizant configured on your ios device, please remove that profile before configuring TruMobi Connect on the same device. Go to: Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Select the Account > Delete Account. Note: If you have any third party MDM (Mobile Device Management) installed on your device, you will need remove it prior to registering with TruMobi. Go to: Settings > General > Profiles > Configuration Profiles > Select the profile > Remove. Installing & Registering TruMobi Connect Step 2 Go to Launchpad URL - from your mobile device browser. Step 3 Download and Install TruHub app. Step 4 Login to TruHub, using your Cognizant credentials. Note: CTS prefix is not required. PAGE 2

3 Step 5 Step 6 Install TruMobi Connect listed under Featured Apps in Home screen. Once installed, place TruMobi Connect in the Dock for easy access. Tap OK. Register with TruMobi Connect, using your Cognizant credentials. Note: CTS prefix is not required Tap Next. A request will be automatically sent to the Administrator to provide access on your mobile device. Step 7 Step 8 Step 9 Once your request is submitted, a message with current request status will be displayed and additional request information will be sent to the Cognizant mailbox configured on your PC. On receiving the approval mail, open TruMobi Connect. Your certificate will be downloaded. Tap Register. Tap on app icon to access your mailbox. PAGE 3

4 FAQ Section Go to top Access related 1. I am unable to download TruHub client application (or) I am facing problems while trying to download the client application from m1c portal? This issue is internet connectivity and can be resolved by trying again once the internet connection is up. It could also be due to client side firewall restrictions. Request you to try your first-time setup on Home Wi-Fi/Public Hotspot/Carrier network. 2. I changed my Cognizant network password. Do I need to change the password on TruMobi Connect? No, you need not change the password in TruMobi Connect after having changed your network password. 4. Is it possible to lookup contacts in the exchange server? Yes. Type the first three letters of the search keyword to find results. Setup related 1. I already have Cognizant configured on my ios device using ActiveSync; do I need to remove that for TruMobi Connect? Yes. Please remove any existing Cognizant profile before requesting access via TruMobi Connect. Keeping the old profile in your device would cause complications such as excessive battery drain, excessive data usage due to repeated exchange server syncs, and also cause access via TruMobi to malfunction. 2. I submitted a request for access via TruMobi Connect and got a mail starting that the request for setting it up is pending with Admin. We have an approval process towards the requests and once approved, you will get a mail on your Cognizant mailbox. Please follow the steps in the approval mail to configure TruMobi Connect. PAGE 4

5 Support related 1. Which ios versions and ios devices are currently supported by TruMobi Connect? The TruMobi Connect supports ios versions 6.0 and above. 2. I do not get any /calendar notifications. How do I enable notifications? Go to: Settings > Notifications Center > select TruMobi Connect app and enable Show in Notification Center 3. How do I to sync all my corporate contacts into my native contact app? Go to: Contacts app inside TruMobi connect > Groups > Sync Contacts > select All Corporate to my iphone Error messages 1. I am getting the message You don t have access to Admin Portal. Kindly contact your Administrator. When I access the link provided in the . You have received the message because you have tried to access the link ( from your desktop browser. Please try the link from your ios mobile device. 2. I am getting a message Request to access corporate is submitted. On approval you will be notified via when I log in to TruMobi Connect. We have an approval process towards the requests and once approved, you will get a mail on your Cognizant mailbox. Once you receive the approval mail, open TruMobi Connect, your certificate will be downloaded and follow the next steps thereafter. Uninstalling TruHub / removing MDM profile 1. How do I uninstall the TruHub client app?
