1 Improve Customer Service/office etiquette throughout the District. Provide professional development for all staff members of the district. Principals Central Office Administrators December April To inform the Community via our district webpage Create hyperlinks via the webpage of various district activities and events on the district webpage. Showcase our district throughout the valley via the local newspaper. Provide articles on school related activities and events throughout the school year. Do notification calls to advertise district activities and events, inclement weather, and other initiatives applicable for immediate communication. Principals (School events)

Extend an invitation to area churches throughout our district to support academic achievement, strengthen family and school relationships and increase parental involvement. To produce an electronic newsletter highlighting activities and events throughout the district. To highlight students and staff when applicable. Offer two Fall and two Spring Community Forums on opposites sides of the district to reach all parents. Principals District Administrators June August December March Recognition of Student of the Month/Employee of the Month Recognition of Employee of the Year/Student of the Year Each month the school submits a name for SOM/EOM and a selection committee reviews the applicants and they are recognized at the monthly board meetings. At the conclusion of the school year, applicants are for SOM/EOM are reviewed by a selection committee and based on their findings a winner is selected and they are recognized at the end of the year during board meeting. 4 Each school will have a Public Relations Contact Person. To provide Internship opportunities for all interested/eligible students. To provide Webpage/Homepage support to Site Managers at each school. To highlight the activities and events happening in our District via the Daily Herald, and Televisions located in the Lobby of the District Office. The Principals will select representatives from their school to submit at least two events/activities per month for publicity. An Orientation Meeting will be held with all PR Contacts to share the ramifications of their role. Provide support and options for educational internships to enhance and engage their abilities and skill set. At each Media & Technology Team Training, support will be provided on updating web/home pages. Provide slide shows and pictures from various events and activities happening in the district to be displayed on the Television in the Lobby of the District Office.
