Captainsmeeting Prior to the parade of the nations and the hoisting of the flags, the captainsmeeting took place on saterdaymorning 09.00 a.m. in Hotel Goes. Present were the members of FIPS-Mer, de captains of the 15 participating nations and the organisation. Furthermore some changes of FIPS-rules were discussed. The following changes are agreed: - Seabass must be 40 cm minimum; - the rod can rest on the railing during the match, but must stay in the hand while capturing the fish(es) ; - Pouting and Dab have a minimum size of 20 cm in the Northsea and 18 cm in the Oosterschelde. The internation Jury was elected, namely: - Pierre Biever, FIPS-mer - Louis Morvan, FIPS-Mer - Marco Pisicane, FIPS-Mer - Neil Bryant, captain English team - Hans Willemse, Dutch organisation De captains don t join the competitiors at the boats. Therefore they have the opportunity to go to the competitionboats avec a special boat: this boat is also for special guests and the press.
