Who are we? We are the voice of the renewable energy industry in Germany. We are 26 industry associations and organizations of the hydropower, wind energy, solar energy, biomass and geothermal energy industry. We represent the interests of more than 30,000 single members, among which 5,000 companies. German renewable energy industry stands for 380.000 jobs.

The Energiewende Only with a significant expansion of RES the climate policy objectives in Germany will be achievable environmental protection security of supply economic feasibility - 80 to -95% CO2 2050 A power supply with 100% RES is possible by 2050, even earlier in the electricity sector

Member Economic Participation Members contribute to the capital of their cooperative 4. Autonomy and Independence self-help organizations controlled by their members 5. Education, Training, and Information Cooperatives provide education so they can contribute effectively to the development of their cooperatives 6. Cooperation among Cooperatives Cooperatives serve their members most effectively by working together 7. Concern for Community cooperatives work for the sustainable development of their communities
