INTERPRETING SERVICE Conference interpreting will be provided: On the 18 th of december and 19 th of december in the morning in French, English, German, Italian and Spanish On the 19 th of December in the afternoon: in French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Serbo-Croatian, Arabic. 3. SECURITY In addition to registration, security arrangements for events under the French Presidency of the European Union require a compulsory individual accreditation process in order to access the event. The email that confirms your registration will indicate the accreditation site and what procedures to follow. This accreditation procedure makes it possible to issue a secure badge, which will be given to participants when they arrive at the conference. Keep the badge with you at all times during the event. 5. FUNDING PROCEDURES : TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION The French Presidency will not cover travel nor accomodation costs for participants from EU 27 member states. For participants from neighbouring countries invited to the Conference on international cooperation on December 19 afternoon, a specific procedure will apply. They are invited to contact directly the General Directorate for Public Administration and the Civil Service where the person in charge of this project (Vanessa) will take care of their accomodation needs. 7. LUNCHES Lunches on 18 th and 19 th of december shall be paid for by the Presidency. They will be served at the Conference site. Coffee breaks will also be provided for participants. 8. 9. ARRIVAL IN PARIS The French Presidency shall arrange transfers from airports or train stations to the hotels. It is important that you precise this information in the on-line registration form. You might also come by your own means. Different ways of communication are available: From airports: Regular shuttle services are provided by public transportation or Air France. Line B of the RER (Regional Express Railway) and bus services (Roissy Bus or Orly Bus) serve central Paris for participants wishing to use public transportation. The Air France shuttle service connects the airports of Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly to the capital. Taxi ranks are also situated immediately outside the airports. The average cost of a journey from one of the airports to the centre of Paris at rush hour is 35 to 40.
