From telephones to typewriters and then from personal computers to smartphones, (and thousands of technologies that were developed along that journey), almost nothing about the modern workplace would be familiar to the workers of a generation ago. How, where, when, and even with whom we work are all dramatically impacted by the kinds of technologies that we (and our organizations) choose to leverage to support the workforce. Today, enabled by a thriving marketplace for new and innovative HR technologies, HR leaders have arrived at an important and potentially transformative moment themselves. Making the best decisions about HR technologies can help empower organizations to meet their business objectives, support and engage their employees, attract and engage sought-after talent, use data to drive workforce decision making, and continue to transform work and workplaces. This presentation will highlight and feature how several specific and innovative technologies are changing work, and how HR and HRIT leaders can sit at the helm of these transformations. 11:00 12:00 Concurrent Breakout Sessions Business - Keep Calm and Integrate On: How to Optimize the Candidate and Recruiter Experience with Multiple HR Services Rick Barfoot, VP Operations, HRNX Session description.
