In 2011 Lizzie completed internships at Rochester s George Eastman House and Museum and the Rochester Memorial Art Gallery. In summer 2010 she completed a six-week Summer Institute in Art Museum Studies at Smith College. Before her term abroad, Lizzie will complete an internship for the Access and Community Programs at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York city. Megan Woloszyn Art History Major / Museum Studies Minor Megan complete an internship at the Erie Art Museum in summer 2011. 2011 Alumni Amber Pasiak Studio Art Major / Art History Double Major In Fall 2012 Amber will enter the Master of Arts degree program at The University of London at Birkbeck to study Art History and Photography. 2010 Alumni Vailarie (Vail) Eubanks Art History Major / Studio Art Minor In April 2012, Vail accepted a position with the Rockwell Museum of Western Art in Corning, NY. Amanda (Rex) Hollister Art History Major Rex is currently a Navy Seabee Builder stationed in Gulfport, MS. In 2009, she
completed an internship at the Cayuga Museum of History and Art & Theodore Case Lab, located in the Case/Willard Manison in Auburn, NY. Amanda Kiesl Art History Major / Studio Art Minor Amanda graduated from The University of Buffalo s Masters of Library Science Program in 2011 where she was also employed as an instructional support staff member at UB s Teaching and Learning Center. She recently accepted a position as the Digital Content Coordinator for the Corning Museum of Glass. Amanda completed an 2008 Internship with Rochester s George Eastman House and Museum in 2008 and returned the following summer to work as an Education Assistant. Maureen (Abbott) Nixon Art History and Studio Art Double Major In 2011 Maureen worked as a Paintings Intern at ConservArt LLC in Williamsville, NY and as an Objects Conservation Intern at the Indianapolis Museum of Art in Indiana. Since Fall 2011, she has been employed as a Paintings Conservation Apprentice at West Lake Conservators. Kara Patrick Art History Major / Philosophy Minor Kara is completing her first year in the Master of Arts Program in International Affairs and Urbanization at New York s The New School for Social Research. In Summer 2012, Kara will participate in The New School s International Field Program in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In the 2012-13 academic year, Kara will work both as an undergraduate Resident Hall Assistant and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Dr. Alberto Minijun. Samantha (Sammy) Vaughn Art History / History Double Major Inspired by her Spring 2010 semester abroad at the University of Leicester, Sammy returned to England this past fall to pursue an MA degree in Art, Health and Well-being at University of Birmingham. To gain practical experience in her field, Sammy volunteers at the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust and as an Artist-Volunteer at the Moore-Green Outpatient Rehabilitation Service. Kaitlin Gillis Art History Major / Philosophy Minor Kaitlin is currently finishing her first year in Medaille College s Master of Sciences Elementary Education program. 2007 Alumni John Burt Sanders Art History and Drawing and Painting BFA Double Major In 2011 John earned his MFA in Painting and Drawing from Ohio University. He is
employed as a Production and Research Assistant at TAKTL in Pittsburgh, PA. 2006 Alumni Alyssa Morasco Art History Major In Fall 2011, Alyssa accepted a position as a Collections Management Technician at the LA County Museum of Art in Los Angeles, CA. As an undergraduate, Alyssa interned at Buffalo s Albright Knox Art Gallery and worked at the Micaela Gallery in San Francisco before accepting her current position with the LA County Museum. ART HISTORY MINORS 2011 Alumni Kaitlin Dafgard Studio Art Major / Art History Minor Since July 2011 Kaitlin has been employed as a graphic designer for The Advantage Co. in Williamsville, NY. Alicia Morley Psychology Major / Art History Minor Alicia was recently accepted into Nazareth College s Creative Arts Therapy program and will begin work on her master s degree there in fall 2012. 2009 Alumni Courtney Blackmon Painting and Drawing BFA Major / ARTH Minor Since her graduation from Fredonia in 2009, Courtney has worked as the Programs and Grants Manager for the Cattaraugus County Arts Council in Cattaraugus, NY. Kaitlin Frisicaro Studio Art Major / Art History Minor Kaitlin is employed as an Art Specialist with People, Inc., Western New York's leading non-profit human services agency offering residential, employment, community outreach, health care and recreation programs, that help seniors, families and people with disabilities live more healthy, independent and productive lives. Kyle Turner Studio Art B.F.A / Art History Minor Kyle entered Northern Illinois University s M.F.A. program in Printmaking in Fall 2009 and was awarded the 2010 John X. Koznarek Scholarship in 2010 and the Northern Illinois University Fellowship in 2011. In addition to his studio work and exhibition record, Kyle has served as an instructor of Drawing Foundations and Introduction to
Printmaking.
