Most frequently, these involve the student s decision to (1) pursue a research area not offered in the program or (2) pursue a degree other than clinical psychology. Less frequently, these reasons are for (3) health/personal concerns or (4) failure to make adequate progress in program (academic/personal difficulties). Professional Licensure The majority of our graduates pursue professional licensure within one to two years after they have graduated. A small number of student enter environments (e.g., academic, research) that do not require licensure.
