International Protocols In additional to the Erasmus Programme, our university has signed scientific and educational protocol agreements 56 different universities 25 countries. Included in these protocols are; student-academic staff exchanges, education materials exchanges, joint research programs, and conference meetings. 23

Dual- Joint Diploma Programmes The challenge of attaining international standards in education at Marmara University continues rapidly. Our university has put its weight behind the establishment of associate diploma programs with foreign universities. ECTS-DS Labels In 2010 our university received DS label and in 2012, the ECTS Label, is given to our university by the European Commission. These are the prestigious awards given to institutions chosen from amongst every university in Europe. 27

Student Support Marmara University organizes a special Turkish Language Course free of charge for incoming Erasmus students every semester in two different levels. (Beginner and Pre-Intermediate) Orientation Program for international students. 28
