Private Sector Housing Home Stamp Searching for off-campus housing? Look for the Home Stamp of approval and we can help you find the perfect student home. Our free service helps you to search for a variety of student accommodation from houses, flats, apartments and lodgings. Home Stamp is the only official source of accredited student accommodation in Canterbury. We only accredit properties that are managed by landlords who are concerned for your health, safety and welfare; this ensures all properties meet our high standards. Landlords who have the Home Stamp of approval have agreed to follow a certain Code of Conduct to ensure the fair and efficient management of their properties. Start your search today www.homestampkent.co.uk/students Message Board The Accommodation Office manages an online Message Board. This is for students, both current and new to the university, to advertise that they are either looking to rent a room in a house or have a room available to rent. This is a good way to find accommodation to share with other students from Canterbury Christ Church University who may be on the same course, or mature or postgraduate students looking for similar students to share with. Accommodation Fairs The Accommodation Office organises an Accommodation Fair during August for students who have missed the accommodation application deadline, or who do not meet the eligibility criteria, and need help to find somewhere to live. Going into your second and third years, there is also an Accommodation Fair held in January for students to meet accredited landlords and arrange property viewings. Dates for both events will be published on our website. 22
