How you access the sign in box has not changed. Login Guide Troubleshooting Having trouble logging in to Online Banking? Please check this list for a possible solution before calling us: Missing Company ID: The consumer online banking login box on firstmerchants.com is red. If you see a blue login box with a required company ID, click the "Not a business? Login here"" link. Incorrect Login ID: Your login ID is case sensitive and is the same as the current system. Check to make sure your caps lock key is off and any capital letters are entered in the correct case. On your first login, you should see the onetime security code screen shown on page 4. If, on that first login, you are presented a password screen after inputting your login ID, (instead of the Security Code screen shown on page 4) the login ID is not correct. Temporary Lock Out: If you enter your password incorrectly three times, you will be temporarily locked out of the Online Banking system. Please call Customer Service at 1.800.205.3464 to reset your password. Changing Your Password: When you are prompted to change your password, you're asked to enter your temporary password and a new password that you create. Your 'Old Password' is the temporary password you used to log in to the system - the password emailed to you. Passwords are also case sensitive and must include at least a letter and a number.
