Diagnosis and Comprehensive Support Services: UIC Institute on Disability and Human Development 1 st floor of the DHSP building at 1640 W. Roosevelt Rd. (UIC West Campus). http://www.ahs.uic.edu/cl/familyclinics/programs/adultdiagnosticandinterventionprogram/ The Developmental Disabilities Family Clinics provide comprehensive assessment and treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults who have developmental disabilities. The Family Clinics include professionals from family medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, pediatrics, psychiatry, psychology, social work, and speech therapy. Funding for the Family Clinics is provided by grants from the Illinois Department of Human Services, matching funds from UIC, and third party payments from Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurers. A sliding fee scale is used to determine the amounts of any payments from recipients of services. However, no one is turned away on the basis of inability to pay.
