10.2 Prize Money Athletes participating in the Main Draw of an FIVB Beach Volleyball Senior World Championships, FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Grand Slam and/or FIVB Beach Volleyball Open event will receive a financial compensation based on the final ranking place achieved at each event. Prize Money allocated by the Organizers: Event Category Prize Money For a Single Gender Event FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships USD 250,000 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Grand Slam USD 120,000 FIVB Beach Volleyball Open USD 75,000 Organizers pay a License Fee to the FIVB for a net amount equivalent to the figures indicated above. Unless otherwise agreed by the FIVB and the Organizers, the License Fee must be paid by the Organizer to the FIVB as per the following schedule: 10% Upon Signature of the FIVB/NF-Promoter Agreement for the first year and by the end of October for the following year. 40% 90 days before the start of the event. 50% 60 days before the start of the event. Two months prior the event the FIVB will assess the status of the event s Prize Money received and at -45 days, in case of insufficient funds transferred, will notify the National Federations and athletes that the event is at risk. The following payment schedule will be followed by the FIVB Finance Department: Events Dates Payment due date 1 Fuzhou 28 April 13 May 2 Shanghai 5 May 20 May 3 Corrientes 26 May 10 June 4 The Hague 16 June 1 July 5 Rome 23 June 8 July 6 Stare Jablonki 7 July 22 July 7 Gstaad 14 July 29 July 8 & 9 Long Beach* & Anapa 28 July 12 August 10 Berlin 11 August 26 August 11 England* 18 August 2 September 12 Moscow 25 August 9 September 13 Vizag 8 September 23 September 14 Kampala* 29 September 14 October 15 Beijing 6 October 21 October 16 Sao Paulo 13 October 28 October 17 Xiamen 27 October 11 November 18 Phuket* 3 November 18 November 19 Durban 15 December 30 December * Events to be confirmed 10 PRIZE MONEY AND BONUS POOL 223

Players emotion after winning the match for the bronze medal In case of unsuccessful payment, after three (3) attempts to contact the athlete, the FIVB Finance Department will sends an official letter (to the National Federation and to the athlete) to inform them of the money transfer to the respective National Federation that will be debited within the following 5-10 days. In case of no response, the athlete s VISASP account is then debited and the FIVB Finance Department informs the FIVB IT Department to book the payment in VISASP. The FIVB will inform the athletes/national Federations in case the Prize Money will not be paid in time for any reason whatsoever. A bank charge for each wire transfer outside Switzerland will be deducted. Should a bank transfer bounce back due to insufficient information provided by the athlete (i.e. incomplete or obsolete information in the athlete s data base) a further bank charge shall be applied. The above principle applies if the responsibility of a transfer returned to the FIVB bank is on the side of the FIVB. The athlete is responsible for paying the relevant taxes for his/her earnings in his/her own country and he/she must update both his/ her bank account details and his/her personal information at the beginning of the contract year through the FIVB Beach Volleyball web based system. The athlete s Bank account must remain the same during the 2013 season in order to enable the FIVB to efficiently wire the Prize Money. The FIVB is not responsible for delayed payments caused by athletes incomplete or wrong bank account details and/ or personal information. In case of delays in updating such sections, the bank charges will be equally borne by the athletes and by the FIVB. It is the responsibility of the National Federations and athletes representative to encourage athletes to verify their personal data before their first event participation. Failure in updating such information will make it impossible for the FIVB to pay the Prize Money to the athletes concerned. Sanctions are deducted directly from the Prize Money earned by the athletes or must be paid 14 days prior to the start of the event the athlete will take part in. If a debt still exists, the National Federation concerned will be held accountable by the FIVB. 10.3 FIVB Bonus Pool A. General principles The FIVB Bonus Pool is in addition to the Prize Money and is allocated by the FIVB to encourage the participation of the best athletes, as well as teams from new countries at FIVB Beach Volleyball tournaments.
