N e w M y S a b r e U s e r I n s t a l l a t i o n Before installing or migrating to MySabre, it is suggested that you close any open applications. From your browser go to https://my.sabre.com At the MySabre sign in screen provide a unique Agent ID (EPR), Sabre Password, and Pseudo City Code (PCC) and then click on the Sign in button. Complete all appropriate fields. The New Password must be 6-8 alpha/numeric characters. The system doesn t accept a few identical letters and numbers in a run and the word Sabre in various combinations. If you are a new agent, your manager can supply you with this information. Note: It is imperative that each employee sign in with their own unique, confidential password. Employees within an office or location should never share a password. 1. The Welcome Screen will appear. Additional information including Minimum Requirements, FAQs, Bulletins, Downloads and other useful information can be found at the Resource center. 2. If all items Pass, proceed to the next step. If all items Fail and you have ActiveX Failure in the Your System column, this is due to the browser not being able to run the ActiveX plug-in. If the Processor is the only item that failed and you believe that this is incorrect, click on the Processor Failure link to continue. A p p e n d i x C W i n d o w s 7 o r V i s t a O p e r a t i n g S y s t e m s 1. During the installation of MySabre on Windows 7 and Vista we raise the level in the browser to run as an administrator. After the workstation has been re-booted for a second time the level in the browser is back to normal. If the user does not have administrator rights on the local workstation it will be necessary to remove this elevated status by going into Control Panel>Programs and Features and remove the program called IE. Once this is done the MySabre icon on the desktop will open MySabre. 2. It is recommended you enable downloads in your Internet Explorer Browser to allow the proper download and installation of Sabre VPN. To do this from the browser follow these steps: o Select Tools. o Internet Options. o Security. o Highlight Trusted Sites. o Select Custom Level. o Scroll down until you find the Downloads section and select Enable. MySabre Migration / Installation Guide December 2009 23

3. When installing the Sabre Print Module on a Windows 7 machine it will be necessary to reboot the PC. o When the PC comes back up you will be presented with a Windows Security Alert where you will need to select Allow Access. o It will be necessary to launch the SPM manually. o To do so open Windows Explorer and go to C:\SABRE\Apps\OADP and select OadpUtil. o Select Allow Access in the Windows Security Alert window. o The SPM icon will appear in the task tray. 4. Windows Vista users will find the Sabre Print Module works a little differently. It will launch automatically when the PC is re-booted. The Windows Security Alert window will display Unblock instead of Allow Access. MySabre Migration / Installation Guide December 2009 24

Another similar window may display for sabserv.exe. Important Note: Each time Windows Vista starts, workstations that have the Sabre Print Module installed will be prompted by Windows Defender for the OADPUTIL.EXE since this executable starts from the Windows Startup group. o Click the Windows Defender icon located in the System Tray. o Select Run blocked program and then click on Open Auxilliary Device Platform. o Click Allow and the Sabre Print Module icon will appear in the System Tray. MySabre Migration / Installation Guide December 2009 25

5. Windows Vista provides for User Account Controls to allow the user to decide whether to allow for a particular process. It will be necessary for you to select Continue from the window to allow any MySabre process. MySabre Migration / Installation Guide December 2009 26
