5. Mode Setting WARNING Be sure to stop the pump when changing each setting. You can change the alarm output setting and counter output setting in the mode settings. <NOTE> The factory default : Alarm output: 0 (alarm off) Counter output: 1 count per pulse 1) Alarm Output Setting Alarm Output : a function that monitors the time the pump takes to switch and activates the alarm if the pump doesn t switch in a specified period. The alarm is activated in the following cases: Air supply is shut off. Solenoid valve is broken. Pump stops due to breakage of a diaphragm. Sensor cable is disconnected. To change the alarm output setting, press and hold down the SETTING KEY for 5 seconds. The LED of TYPE OF SETTINGS will flash once per second during the setting. The alarm setting changes each time you press the key. 0 1 2 3 :Alarm - OFF Select this mode when an alarm is not required or if the pump cycle is less than 4 cycles/min. LED will not light up. :Alarm - 5 Seconds After Pump Stops If there is no signal from the pump cycle sensor for more than 5 seconds, the alarm will be activated. LED will flash once. :Alarm - 10 Seconds After Pump Stops If there is no signal from the pump cycle sensor for more than 10 seconds, the alarm will be activated. LED will flash twice. :Alarm - 20 Seconds After Pump Stops If there is no signal from the pump cycle sensor for more than 20 seconds, the alarm will be activated. LED will flash three times. To register your selection, press and hold down the SETTING KEY until the flashing LED turns off. 3
2) Counter Output Setting There are two modes for counting pump cycles. - 1 count per pulse : 1 signal is transmitted with every pump cycle. - 1 count per 10 pulse : 1 signal is transmitted with every 10 pump cycles. To change the counter output setting, press and hold down the SETTING KEY for 7 seconds. The LED of TYPE OF SETTINGS indicator will flash rapidly during the setting. The output setting changes each time you press the key. 1 count per pulse: LED flash rapidly 1 count per 10 pulse: LED flash once per second To register your selection, press and hold down the SETTING KEY until the flashing LED turns off. 3) Remote Control CE-124P can be operated by external equipment (signal) such as PLC. Status Control: Pump runs as long as a signal is being delivered and stops when there is no signal. (See 7. Input and Output Circuit Diagram ) <NOTE> STOP Priority Even when the remote control system is used, you can stop the pump in an emergency by pressing the START/STOP KEY. In this case, press the RESET KEY to reset the alarm. 6. Dimensions 32 114 130 4
