R.K. & Associates are independent consultants who specialize in facilitating the development of athletic projects by delivering budgets, providing field design and layouts for specific athletic events, determining construction needs and identifying same with specifications, preparing tender/bid documents, completing bid analysis and providing project supervision. Roy Klementti, principle, has previously been engaged (40 years) as an employee and owner providing contractual services, specifications and product information for athletic surfacing and athletic equipment installations in the Province of Ontario. This previous experience in the project preparation, management and construction phases serves well in providing a conscious understanding of the project being considered. Previous clients have included Municipal governments, Provincial school boards, private schools, universities, colleges, Provincial & National recreation/athletic organizations and private developers. R.K. & Associates are fully insured for liability and WSIB. Robert Hawke. partner, is a certified engineering technologist (C.E.T.). His 30 years of experience with municipal level Government lends well to his partnership with R.K. & Associates. Robert clearly understands water issues as they relate to drainage, sewers, irrigation and storm drains. His experience in substrate conditions and needs serves us well in providing specifications and supervision for granular sub bases and drainage systems for the projects being considered. Mark Klementti, partner, brings a strong sales and marketing background to the team, including past experience with a distributor and installer of indoor sports surfaces. SERVICES CONSULTATION - PROJECT MANAGEMENT Phase I: Exploratoy - No Charge 1. Site evaluation. 2. Initial exploratory meeting discuss project goals and priorities. 3. R.K. & Associates will provide a proposal including Preliminary Budgets, Scope of Work, Allocation of Fees and Disbursements. Phase II: Contracted as Consultants/Project Manager 1. Project meeting with client, client review committee, including Physical Plant/Facilities Manager, Owner representative, user group (when applicable) to establish goals and priorities. 2. Prepare budget and present to owner s review committee. 3. Prepare Scope of Work including critical path to establish start and completion dates. 4. Prepare field layouts including survey if necessary. 5. Co-ordinate with municipal engineers, the drainage designs, including storm water management. 6. Have site soils tested. 7. Prepare pre-qualification of contracts if applicable. 8. Prepare specification and tender packages. 9. Call for tender. 10. Arrange and chair mandatory site meeting. 11. Review and recommendation of tender results. 12. Chair post bid meeting with successful contractor. 13. Chair all site meetings; prepare all agendas; record all minutes and distribute same. 14. Review shop drawings. 15. Collect all warranties and maintenance manuals and turn over to owners. 16. Provide to the owners; as built drawings and copies of all reports. 4

ROY KLEMENTTI - PRINCIPAL PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 2003 - Present RK & Associates Partnered with Robert Hawke to form RK & Associates to facilitate the development of athletic projects. 1984-2002 Gym-Con Ltd. Started Gym-Con Ltd. with 1 partner. Gym-Con Ltd. continues to be the leading Ontario distributor and installer of indoor sports surfaces. The business was sold December 31, 2002. 1980-1984 Distribution Companies Established 2 distribution companies; Leaman Energy Systems, the distribution of energy saving wood heating devices and Inn Video Systems, the 1st Ontario company to distribute in house movies to hotels for guest use. 1976-1980 Peter Reino Sports Established a retail sporting goods operation specializing in Alpine & cross-country skiing. The business was expanded to 4 stores. 1972-1976 Challenger Athletic Sales Ltd. With 2 partners, established Challenger Athletic Sales Ltd. manufacturing company. Vice-President of Sales and instrumental in expanding company to western Canada. 1960-1972 Murray Anderson Ltd. Gymnasium Equipment Installer (basketball backstops, bleacher seating, gym equipment). Progressively rose with Murray Anderson Ltd. (positions included; Installation Foreman, Regional Sales Rep, Ontario Sales Manager, National Sales Manager) to become General Manager of the Athletic Division. EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS Graduate Grade 12 Diploma - Technical program Completed architectural drawing course and quantity estimating program with the Toronto Construction Association Served 12 years with Canada Jaycees. ROBERT HAWKE, C.E.T. - PARTNER PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 2003 - Present RK & Associates Partnered with Roy Klementti to form RK & Associates, to facilitate the development of athletic projects. 2002-2004 Michael Monteith Enterprises Ltd. Safety Manager & Equipment Manager - set up Health & Safety program and managed Loss Control and the diverse inventory of equipment spread across the various sites. 1974-2002 City of Orillia Projects Supervisor - as the Senior Technologist in the Engineering Department, managed twelve other technologists, technicians, surveyors and draftsmen in designing, preparing contract documents, and tendering municipal projects for roads, storm and sanitary sewers, sidewalks etc. Major projects included the reconstruction of the Central Business Area, major arterial streets, and major storm sewers, often dealt directly with the contractors on site. Introduced the use of computer aided drafting and surveying to the department. In the capacity of the Industrial Pollution Control Officer, worked on Environmental Protection Act approvals for the Sanitary Landfill Site, and other environmental issues. Established the position of Health & Safety Officer for the City of Orillia in the Deputy City Administrator/ Personnel Managers Office. Coordinated the functioning of four Joint Health & Safety Committees (JHSC s), implemented the requirements of the WHMIS Regulations, provided WHMIS training for all City staff, and established Health and Safety Policies. Arranged staff training and obtained grants for and implemented a management-training program for all management staff. Property & Safety Manager - managed maintenance and repair of various City buildings. Hired and coordinated with Architects, Engineers and contractors for various renovations and constructions. Designed and implemented office renovations. Lead on many projects including the selection, installation and implementation of the computer network, phone & voice mail system, ergonomic furniture systems, HVAC replacements, roofing and renovations. Managed the Health & Safety program; included conducting safety inspections, Joint Health and Safety Committee Meetings, investigating accidents, providing and arranging Safety Training and managing WSIB claims.
