who we are our services Intersocial Consulting is a dynamic, innovative firm, focused on advising natural resource companies and financial institutions on matters of corporate social responsibility, stakeholder engagement and land access and resettlement. The natural resources sector, particularly mining and oil and gas industries, is operating in a context of increased awareness and regulation regarding the potential social and environmental impacts of their activities, particularly in developing countries. Intersocial Consulting has internationally experienced social professionals who can provide expertise to help projects address their social challenges, including in the specialist field of land access and resettlement. Our team has hands on experience of managing projects on the ground from inception to completion. Resettlement Land Access & Resettlement Planning, implementing and evaluating land access and resettlement projects, including project management and advice on budgeting, scheduling, legal issues, land management strategies, community negotiations and development of Resettlement Action Plans. Social Assessment Socio-economic baseline studies, social impact and risk assessments, and development of work plans and budgets for feasibility studies and due diligence exercises. Stakeholder Engagement Design and implementation of Stakeholder Engagement Action Plans, Public Consultation & Disclosure Plans and Communications Plans. Social Action Plans Design, implementation and evaluation of social action plans, including Community Development Plans and Land Management Plans. Mapping Services Using new satellite technologies to provide up to date information on features, crops and structures, which are then used to develop land access strategies and budgets with project planners. Database Services The provision and maintenance of a land acquisition and resettlement database which records the social information on each impacted household. The database can also be used to record other social activities such as stakeholder engagement and grievance management. Monitoring and Evaluation Development and implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation Plans to ensure that social action plans are properly implemented.
