SAP Training System Access To login to an SAP system you have to use the so-called SAP GUI (Graphical User Interface). There are several GUI options: 1. Web GUI This is a simple URL that allows you to login via a supported web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer. The benefit is that you do not need to install any additional software on your computer and you can login to the SAP system as soon as you receive your user ID and password. However, the Web GUI is fairly slow and offers only limited functionality for certain features. 2. SAP GUI for Windows This is the standard GUI version which offers the most features. However, it is also the biggest download file. It must be downloaded and installed on your computer. 3. SAP GUI for Java This GUI is platform-independent (meaning that it will run on a Windows PC or an Apple MAC computer). Note that this GUI will not run on a 64-bit operating system! If you want to install this GUI please follow these instructions instead: http:///files/javaguiinstallation.pdf If you are not sure what GUI to use simply ask us or just install the SAP GUI for Windows using the instructions below. Download the SAP GUI for Windows here: http:///files/sapgui/sapgui730.zip The download file is very large (approx. 440 MB) and can take over an hour to download depending on your internet speed. After the download is complete, extract the files using an unzip program (such as WinZip.com) and start the installation. For detailed step-by-step instructions for the SAP GUI for Windows installation please review this file: http:///files/sapgui.pdf Once the SAP GUI is installed you have to create an entry as shown below. You only need to create an entry for the system you have subscribed to. We will send you an email with your user ID, password and System ID. Page 1/9

SAP GUI 7.10 set up 1. Make sure you are on the Systems tab and click on New Item. Page 2/9

2. Click Next and add the following information: Page 3/9

3. Enter the Description, Application Server, System ID and System Number on the Connection tab using the table below. Click Next. These GUI connection settings will be emailed to you together with your user ID and password. Page 4/9

4. Accept default settings and click Next. Page 5/9

5. Accept default settings and click Finish. Page 6/9

SAP GUI Patches The following SAP GUI patches are available: Patch 15 for SAP GUI 710 http:///files/sapgui/gui710_15-10002995.exe BI Service Pack 9 http:///files/sapgui/bi710sp09_900-10004472.exe Developer s Access Our regular user IDs do not include development access. If you wish to practice ABAP and develop your own programs or applications you can request a user ID with developers access rights for an additional fee. Availability of these user IDs is limited and assigned on a first come, first served basis. We reserve the right to discontinue your developers access rights/user ID if we find that there is no development activity. LSMW access All user IDs include access to the Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW). Please make sure that your own LSMW objects start with ZM2B* in ECC 6.0 (or ZMAI* in R/3 4.7) as otherwise you will get an error message regarding missing authorizations. SAP Help Our SAP systems include the full online SAP Help documentation. Make sure to switch the help settings to Modal Dialog Box under the menu option Help > Settings to access the help topics from within the SAP system. Alternatively, you can go to http://help.sap.com to access all online help documentation. System Availability We understand the importance of having the SAP systems available to you at all times. We do, however, have to perform routine maintenance, upgrades and backups at some time. Therefore, all SAP systems will be unavailable the first Saturday of each month. Please plan your work accordingly. If we require any additional system downtime we will announce the outage on our system status web site. Page 7/9

How to get support Online Help Desk We support all access and authorization related issues. We do not, however, provide support for configuration, user procedures, settings, or one-on-one training. In order to get support you must submit your request via our online help desk: http://sapaccess.helpdeskconnect.com Before submitting a ticket, please review these important instructions: http:///files/helpdeskticket.pdf Note: Your SAP user ID and password will not work for the help desk. You have to register with the help desk first before you can create tickets. Frequently Asked Questions A complete list of Questions and Answers can be found here: http:///sap_access_faq.asp I don t know how to get started! You should download and install the SAP GUI on your computer first (unless you want to use the SAP Web GUI). If you need help with this, please open a help desk ticket. OK, I paid for my subscription and received this document now what? We are working on creating your user ID now give us a couple of hours to set this up. In the meantime, make sure that you have the SAP GUI installed on your computer as described above and can get to the login screen of the SAP system. When & How do I get my User ID? Most user IDs are assigned within a couple of hours. We will send you an email with your user ID and password once it has been activated. Trouble logging in? If you experience any problems with your SAP access please submit a ticket through the online help desk: http://sapaccess.helpdeskconnect.com. Make sure to include your user ID and a detailed description of the problem so that our support staff can help you as quickly as possible. I forgot my password and/or have locked my own user ID You can reset your own password using this link: http://m2b.majul.com:8002/sap/bc/webdynpro/majul/m2bdiypwdreset Page 8/9

Does my access expire? Your subscription will remain active until you cancel it. We will bill your credit card automatically for your renewal. To cancel your subscription, simply send an email to sapaccess@michaelmanagement.com. Do I have access to every transaction in the system? You have access to all common user and configuration transactions for all functional areas (FI/CO, MM, SD, etc.). We restrict access to user maintenance and system administration functions so that we can provide a reliable environment to all SAP users. If you have any problems with missing authorizations please submit a help desk ticket at http://sapaccess.helpdeskconnect.com and include a print-out of transaction SU53 so that we can analyze the issue. Follow this link for instructions on how to create the SU53 report: http:///files/su53.pdf Is the system available at all times? Almost just like everyone else we have to perform routine maintenance, upgrades and offline backups. Therefore, the system will be unavailable every first Saturday of each month. If additional downtime is required we will announce the outage in advance so that you can plan accordingly. Can I share my user ID? No, you may not. All user IDs are for a single student and may not be shared. If we find you are sharing a user ID we may terminate your account immediately without warning and will not issue any refunds. Please do not share your ID with anyone. Anything else? All SAP access is subject to our Terms & Conditions please take a moment to review this very important information: http:///sap_popup_terms.html Page 9/9
