Gigya Partner Program Partner Philosophy At Gigya we want to be the platform to allow companies to connect to any Social Network Solution in order to collect relevant data and to convert that data into relevant and actionable activities. In this vein, we leverage our comprehensive ecosystem of partners to deliver value to our customers. Types of Partners TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS Technology Partners are segmented into two main categories: Social Media and Infrastructure. Social Media - Gigya provides social login to over 35 social networks. As part of our offering, we create and maintain these integrations for our end clients. This includes keeping each social login option to date with current policies and security requirements. Infrastructure and ISV - There are numerous Infrastructure technologies that are used by our clients. These include e-commerce, CRM, Data Integration and other software platforms that are core to their business. We partner with the leaders in these areas to ensure both an integrated solution for our clients and shared value proposition, giving us the ability to quickly implement in numerous IT environments. SYSTEM INTEGRATION AND AGENCY PARTNERS We understand that our solution is usually implemented as part of a larger digital strategy. In order to ensure the best service to our customers, we partner with System Integrators and Agencies that many times oversee this strategy and its implementation. We work both with global partners and regionalized or vertically focused partners. In most cases our partnerships include a reciprocal referral model to allow us to provide the best offering for our clients. Each partnership has a defined go to market and joint implementation methodology that allows us to have as much involvement as necessary for a successful implementation.
SOLUTION PROVIDERS Our Solution Providers work directly with clients to offer them a complete one stop digital solution that includes Gigya. These partners have services to complete the client s Digital Strategy and work with us in one of two ways: Referral or Resell. In both cases, our solution provider oversees the overall strategy and success, while we provide the technology and key implementation services around Gigya. NEUS Exchange Leveraging Gigya s first party insights, our NEUS Exchange puts consumer data into measurable action. By integrating with our network of software providers, you can apply the consumer data insights gleaned from Gigya s technology to power and personalize your existing marketing campaigns and user experiences. Each of our NEUS partners has been vetted to ensure an optimal user experience. Current NEUS Exchange partners include Email, Analytics, Digital Messaging, Recommendation / Personalization Engines, and any other technology platforms that can be enhanced by Gigya s first party data. Partner Tiers We offer three partnership tiers, each of which is tailored to our partners unique needs and goals. ASSOCIATE PARTNER Our New Associate Partners work with us to establish an initial joint value proposition and set shortterm goals, with the end goal of developing the terms for a long-term relationship. Partners at this level undergo an annual review to determine the viability of moving forward. The hope is that a partner will move to the next level during this time, but some partners will choose to remain at the Associate level. SILVER PARTNER Our Silver Partners are ready to make the investment to truly go to market, jointly, and establish a long-term strategy. Partners at this level will make investment in product, marketing and sales and work with us to build a joint business plan.
GOLD PARTNER Our Gold Partners are established partners with which we share joint customers and integrations. We continually work with these partners to build plans for further growth. These plans are built for annual numbers and reviewed regularly by both Executive Teams. This also extends to trade show booths and presentations where Gigya is part of the Partner s messaging. Access to Gigya Collateral and Sales Materials - We extend all our sales presentations, collateral and other product and sales materials to our Partners for their use in working with prospects and customers. The majority of these materials are in digital form and downloadable via our Partner Portal. Non-digital collateral may be requested from your Channel Sales Manager. Joint Thought Leadership Development - We have in-house marketing personnel that can work directly with our Partners to develop case studies around client implementations. In addition, we can develop joint White Papers that call out perspectives on Consumer Identity Management or specific integration value propositions. All of these documents can be produced in hard or digital copy. Reciprocal Referral Agreements - When desired, we create an agreement that pays a referral fee for any introduction to prospects. The referral rate will vary from partner to partner. Referrals are paid on closed business and only valid for one year. We do not include services in our referral agreements.
Quarterly State of the Channel Webinars - At the end of each quarter, we run a Partner-only webinar to update our partners on Gigya s Performance, Products and Channel Business, and other pertinent information and training. While the webinar is typically broadcasted live, we will also provide a recorded version on request. Partner Sales Training - In order to ensure successful positioning and selling of Gigya products, we will conduct regular Sales Training for our Partners. These training sessions cover our products, presentations, pricing and sales methodology. If the Partner is using our PRM, then we will also go over the proper use of accessing and entering leads and managing opportunities. Representation on Gigya s Partner Site - All partners can be represented on the Gigya website in the Partner section. Each level and type of partner has a different type of representation, which varies from displaying the partner s logo with a full description of the partner to including the partnership overview as well as a direct link to the partners website. PRM Access - We have developed a PRM system that allows our partners to access collateral and enter and manage leads and opportunities. It is vital to utilize this solution in order to ensure consistency in our reporting. Partners are granted up to three seats for PRM and will be provided training on its uses and restrictions. Partner Implementation Training - We conduct regular training for our Partners to ensure successful implementation of our suite of products. This training focuses on best practices for integrating Gigya s technology and is an extension of our core user training. This training must be completed by at least one representative on the Partner s side in order to be granted access to our Demo and Integration license. For your convenience, our training sessions can be conducted on-site if the partner is looking to educate multiple employees at a time. Discount Points Off Solution - To help our partners resell our technology, we offer set discount points that enable our partners to make a margin on our solutions that they sell. This percentage is determined by the partner s tier and the number of profile numbers they have under management. Once a tier is achieved, the partner will continue to be granted the same reseller rate for a 12 month period for all new business. Any renewals that are done remain within the discount structure for which they originally sold. Additional discount points can be earned on a deal by deal basis for multiple year contracts. This will be added to two- or three-year contacts and increases based on total number of years.
Business Plans - We encourage all of our partners to develop a business plan to set goals and track success around these goals. To streamline this process, we have developed a template that is available to all our partners. A joint business plan with Executive Sponsors will be developed for specific tiers within the program. These plans are updated continuously and reviewed on a quarterly basis. Partner Support Desk - To address our partners support needs, we have developed exclusive escalation procedures that only our Partners have access to. These procedures are available to partners that have completed our Implementation Training. Upon reaching our highest partner tier, each partner is assigned a professional services representative that will become familiar with the partnership and offer 1:1 support and coaching. Solution Engineer - Our partners have direct access to our Solutions Engineers to assist in sales pursuits. The Solution Engineer will help customize and deliver demonstrations, act as a product expert in vital prospect meetings, and assist in training your own team on Gigya s technology offering. Partner Account Manager - Our Account Managers work closely with each partner and our joint clients, acting as the point of contact for non-new business sales activities, including scheduling training sessions and fielding day to day questions, drafting contracts, and addressing support escalations and client renewals. Authorization to Resell - Our Solution Providers and OEM Partners that choose to resell can do so in two ways: They can buy on behalf of their customer or license directly to the customer. In either case, the client name and contact information are required for the order to be processed. The discount points and pricing remain the same for either situation. In the event that the client chooses to buy directly from Gigya, we may pay a referral fee to the partner. Gigya Executive Access - We will make appropriate Executives available to our Partners for internal or prospect-facing events, including user conferences. Partners can request access to our executives as part of the business plan and through their Channel Sales Manager. First Line Support - Partners that are reselling or building integrations will be required to provide Level 1 support to each of our joint customers. This will include taking initial calls, evaluating and troubleshooting problems, and logging any necessary Support Tickets with Gigya. Integrated Solution - We tier each level of our Technology Partnerships based on the level of integration completed. At a minimum, there must be an approved integration design in place in order to become a partner.
Joint Value Proposition - Each partner should contribute a unique value to the Gigya client base, which will be used to not only educate prospects and customers, but also in the internal resources of both companies. Gigya will provide a one-page template to ensure the consistency of these materials. Joint Sales Presentation - To ensure consistency in the way both parties discuss their partnership and products or solutions, the partner will work with Gigya to create a sales presentation that speaks to both companies product offering and joint value proposition. Partner Sales Resource - In order to streamline processes and ensure success in the market, the partner must designate a minimum of one sales resource to represent the partnership. This resource is responsible for educating prospects and colleagues on our joint value proposition, generating leads, and managing opportunities to close, which can include participating in joint pipeline calls. Marketing Resource - Each partner should have a resource that is responsible for assisting in creating marketing materials and planning and conducting joint marketing events. Press Release - In order to demonstrate the value of our partnership, Gigya publishes regular releases once an agreement is signed or a joint client has experienced considerable success from our partnership or from implementing Gigya s technology. Committed Quota - As part of the business plan, we ask that a quota is committed to in order to have a proper goal to track against. This allows us to put forth the appropriate level of resources to ensure success. NEUS Exchange The key to achieving true ROI with Gigya s products lies in properly leveraging the data that is gathered and managed by us. While we provide the technology to effectively carry this out, we know there are other ways to leverage this data through our partners. To streamline the integration process, we created the NEUS Exchange. Partners within the NEUS Exchange will have pre-built integrations and solutions, making the implementation process easier than ever before.
