7 Innovations Panomera Configuration The current version of the SMAVIA Recording Server software has been further optimized for the recording of Panomera multifocal sensor systems. Panomera multifocal sensor systems can be recorded in the Motion Detection mode since the previous version. Therefore, the active area for the motion detection had to be defined in each of the Panomera Sub-Channels. This configuration step has been simplified. Now, the active area can be set conveniently in the Panomera Master-Channel. The configuration of all Panomera sub-channels is adjusted automatically. Panomera multifocal sensor systems can be recorded in the Permanent or Contact mode as well. Panomera Streamer for SVC A Panomera Streaming Server provides a single Full HD stream which summerizes the various Sub-Channels (streams) of a Panomera multifocal sensor system. The current version of the SMAVIA Recording Server software now supports lossless zooming in the stream provided by the Panomera Streaming Server. As a digital PTZ function, the zoomed area can be placed anywhere. The current version of the SMAVIA Recording Server software supports as a proxy the use of these functions with the software SMAVIA Viewing Client via network. The digital PTZ function for the stream of a Panomera Steaming Server is available in the Live mode and in the Playback mode as well. Support of new Camera Series The current version of SMAVIA Recording Server has been extended for the support of the camera series DF5200HD, DF5300HD and DF5400HD. www.dallmeier.com 4
EdgeStorage & SmartBackfill The EdgeStorage for Emergency Recording with SmartBackfill function has been enhanced for recording in the Motion Detection mode. EdgeStorage stores the recordings permanently on the internal memory of the camera in case of a network failure. SmartBackfill transmits the recordings to the SMAVIA appliance, as soon as the network is available again. The SMAVIA appliance stores the buffered recordings permanently and then continues with the recording of the regular stream in the Motion Detection mode. New License Codes As of the current version of SMAVIA Recording Server new encryption algorithms are used, resulting in a changed structure of the license codes. Already purchased license codes cannot be reused for the current version. The conversion of already purchased license codes can be requested from the Dallmeier support. Support of Ethernet I/O Interface The current version of SMAVIA Recording Server has been extended for the support of an Ethernet I/O interface (Moxa iologik E1214). This device allows for the triggering of Contact IN and Relay OUT functions over the network interface of the appliance. Optional license (DLC - Ethernet I/O Interface for SMAVIA) Contact Triggered Recording The current version of SMAVIA Recording Server has been extended regarding the contact triggered recording. This function is now available for network cameras as well. www.dallmeier.com 5
