Business Current Account Simpler, clearer pricing
We re introducing simpler and clearer fees for your Business Current Account, from 23 rd February 2015, replacing our existing fees. Here are the main changes: 1. Electronic and automated payments down to 10c each from 24c each 1 These payments include online and phone banking transactions, Tablet and Mobile App transactions, Business On Line transactions, direct debits, direct credits, Electronic Funds Transfer, standing orders, and debit card point of sale transactions. 2. ATM transactions will increase to 25c each from 24c each This charge will apply to all cash withdrawals and lodgements using ATM and Lodgement ATM machines. 3. Reduction in Business On Line subscription We re reducing the monthly subscription cost for Business On Line customers. }} Level 1 & 2 subscriptions will be reduced to 10 per month from 15 per month }} Level 3 subscription will be reduced to 55 per month from 70 per month The 365 online and phone service will remain free of charge. 4. Paper and over the counter transactions will increase to 60c each from 37c each (or 39c each if over 1,500 transactions per quarter) This includes all paper lodgements and withdrawals, credit transfers, cheques and over the counter staffassisted transactions. Each cheque contained in a lodgement will be charged at 60c each (previously 20c each). 5. Revised cash and coin handling charges We will now be charging 60c per 100 for notes lodged/paid in or notes withdrawn/paid out. Notes exchanged for notes will increase to 1.20 per 100 from 0.96 per 100. A coin handling charge of 3 per 100 will apply for coins lodged/paid in or coins withdrawn/paid out.
6. Quarterly Business Current account maintenance fee The quarterly account maintenance fee will increase to 15.00 per quarter from 5.25 per quarter for all active and inactive current accounts. 7. Business chequebooks now 20c per cheque The Bank is introducing a new chequebook charge of 20c per cheque. Customers who have a standard chequebook of 50 cheques will be charged 10.00 in addition to Government Stamp Duty, currently 25. This charge will be debited from the account when the chequebook is issued. 8. Contactless payments will be 1c Contactless payments are available on Bank of Ireland Visa Debit cards with the contactless symbol on them. Our new pricing will encourage all our customers to register for and use more cost-efficient ways to bank. Online and automated banking transactions will be 50c cheaper than paper and staff assisted transactions, so business customers who use these services will see a reduction in their fees. Cross border handling charges may apply. Domestic Contactless transactions will be free until and will be charged at 1c thereafter. 2. If you do not use your account in the fee quarter commencing, we will waive the quarterly account maintenance fee. However, from the fee quarter commencing 24 August 2015, we will apply the maintenance fee to all business and non-personal current accounts regardless of activity. Customers who have an inactive account should contact their branch to either reactivate the account or close it. 3. BOL Level 1 / 2, no monthly subscription charge will apply to add a 2nd, 3rd or subsequent company. For BOL Level 3, a monthly subscription charge of 27.50 will apply to add a 2nd company and 13.75 for a 3rd and subsequent company. 4. We will debit a new chequebook issuing charge of 0.20 per cheque from your account when we send you a standard chequebook. This charge is in addition to the Government Duty 0.50 per cheque and the applicable transaction fee for cheques, i.e. 0.60 per cheque. 3
