1 Summary of main changes to our Business Banking Price List Please read through this notice carefully and keep it in a safe place for future reference.

3 1. Changes to Business Direct effective from 1 September 2013 unless otherwise stated in your covering letter We are changing the name of Business Direct to Electronic Banking Tariff. All references to Business Direct in the Business Banking Price List will be changed to Electronic Banking Tariff. New monthly account maintenance fee We are also introducing a monthly account maintenance fee of 5.50 for Electronic Banking Tariff customers. The new price will be applied to individual accounts from the beginning of an Electronic Banking Tariff customer s first full charging period, commencing on or after 1 September 2013 unless otherwise stated in your covering letter. Standard account services Our charges for providing our standard account services are changing. We are also introducing a new service for Other credits (highlighted in bold and underlined in the table below) which is free for Electronic Banking Tariff customers. The charges, which are contained in the Business Banking standard account services table in the Business Banking Price List, will be amended to reflect the new prices as shown in the fourth column of the table below. For ease of reference the old price from the current Price List is shown in the third column. We have clarified the descriptions of Branch cash in, Branch cheques collected, Branch cash out and Cash machine cash out (highlighted in bold in the table below). Changes to the Small Business Tariff effective from 1 September 2013 unless otherwise stated in your covering letter The Small Business Tariff monthly account maintenance fee will increase to The new price will be applied to individual accounts from the beginning of a Small Business Tariff customer s first full charging period, commencing on or after 1 September 2013 unless otherwise stated in your covering letter. Standard account services We are introducing a new charge for Other credits paid into your account of 19p per credit. A new row will be added to the Business Banking standard account services table in the Business Banking Price List to reflect this (highlighted in bold and underlined in the table below). The Business Banking standard account services table in the Business Banking Price List will be amended to reflect the new charges as shown in the fourth column of the table below. For ease of reference the old price from the current Price List is shown in the third column. We have clarified the descriptions of Branch cash in, Branch cheques collected, Branch cash out and Cash machine cash out (highlighted in bold in the table below). The prices for these services are not changing. Changes to additional payment services effective from 1 December 2013 unless otherwise stated in your covering letter We are introducing a new charge for Bill Payments and Faster Bill Payments via our nonautomated Telephone Banking Service for Small Business Tariff, Electronic Banking Tariff and Individual Pricing customers of 3 per payment. A new row will be added to the Bill Payments Requested in branch or by post and the Faster Bill Payments tables on page 7 of the Business Banking Price List (highlighted in bold below) to reflect this. The heading of the first table will also be changed to Bill Payments. The cost of Bill Payments made via our automated Telephone Banking Service remains free for Electronic Banking Tariff customers and will reduce from 37p per payment to 23p per payment for Small Business Tariff customers. We are also amending the charges for Bill Payments and Faster Bill Payments in branch or by post to 5 per payment. This replaces the charges of 10 per payment when made in branch and 15 per payment when made by post which we notified you would take effect on 1 January 2012 and which are shown in the current Price List but which we did not in fact implement. Tables showing the current pricing actually charged, the previously notified pricing and the new pricing are provided below. These new prices will take effect from 1 December 2013 unless otherwise stated in your covering letter.
