Security Today is more than just Locking Today, the standards set for modern IT Infrastructure require a higher level of physical security and have driven the development forward from a purely mechanical handle to a mechatronic handle system. In the area of electronic locking and monitoring, EMKA offers with its Electronic Locking & Monitoring (ELM) portfolio high-performance locking and sensor technology. and the evaluation of recorded data up to complete rack management applications. The product program is completed by extensive hardware and 4 5 software solutions, allowing a comfortable control of all components
Electronic Locks for all Installation Situations Agent E: Wireless Handle with Memory Function A wide range of electromechanical locking solutions are available Whether as a stand-alone version or network system AGENT E is for server racks: always the right choice. Due to its design, it is ideal for new installations as well as for retrofit because of its suitability for various cutouts :: Releasable or pop out handles with or w/o emergency opening and mechanical connections. This handle can be installed in :: Handles with integrated keypad minutes and is immediately ready for operation. Being battery operated, :: Designs for single or multi-point locks no additional wiring is required! Opening is via personalised :: Universal latches for any type of housing micro transmitter. An integrated event log saves all opening and closing procedures. Centralised monitoring, remote opening and All locks are equipped with potential-free contacts for remote parameterisation can be performed wireless via radio transmission. 6 indication of handle locked/unlocked status. The locks are driven by a standard DC signal. In the idle state no energy is required. 7

The measured values can thus be captured and processed: :: Temperature, humidity and leakage sensor for climatic parameters :: Smoke and vandalism sensors for signalling the immediate risk :: Sensors for electrical parameters (current, voltage, power) to measure and optimise the energy consumption 8 9
Network LAN Communications module -Bus Sensor module Proximity module Handle module Handle module Handle module IT Infrastructure Management: Modular design to Suit any Requirement An infrastructure management system consists of a network compatible communications module as a central unit. Function modules are connected with standard patch cables and communicate via robust bus to the central unit. Handles, locks, sensors or card readers are simply plugged into the modules with standard connectors. The decentralised structure lowers costs and reduces the necessary wiring costs. The functionality of the system can be extended and completed by adding additional modules at any time. Modular design and the standardised connectors ensure easy installation and fast commissioning. The required modules are 10 installed in the cabinets as requested. 11
