Update moveit@iss+ central network version Please note: Restart your database server and log in as user with full administrator rights. Pay attention that the duration of the update depends on the size of your database. It is very important to make sure that there is enough space available for the installation or for the updates on your computer. You need more space especially for temporary data. In order to be able to update your version to 45.xxxx, you must have installed at least moveit@iss+-version 44.31.23. To see which version you have installed, start moveit@iss+ and click on [?] [About moveit@iss+]. ATTENTION: All files and folders which are not needed for the new version are moved in the folder SaveV9. Should you have saved word offers e.g. in your moveit installation directory, all these data are also moved there. Update from moveit@iss+ The update must be executed directly on the server and the data base must be stopped before the update!! Open the Windows Explorer: Select the file from your download folder (if you have the Release Version from our Download Center). Execute now the Release_45xxxx.exe. Start the database If moveitdbcontrol was already installed on your server, this tool is also automatically actualized. After the update moveitdbcontrol opens automatically and you can start the database about the button [Datenbank starten]. Afterwards start as usual your moveit@iss+ version about the icon on the desktop. If moveitdbcontrol was not installed until yet on your server, this tool is automatically installed with the update. With this tool databases from moveit@iss+ can be started and stopped. The database can be started thereby automatically while the server is starting (without user s interaction) and be stopped automatically while the server is shutting down. The database was already added automatically with the database name IssData. As standard port the port 2501 is applied which is also indicated on the right side near the database name. MoveITDBControl can be started over the icon on your desktop. Click now on [Dienst starten]. The service starts automatically, also the indicated database. 2014 moveit Software GmbH 45.10 Page 8 of 9
When you mark the entry in the list, below on the left you can check if the database is started (Green) or stopped. (Red). If you want to start or stop only the database, you can start this with the buttons [Datenbank starten] [Datenbank stoppen].
