As a SIP phone, Kapanga can be used on Voice over IP networks to interact with traditional Public Switching Telecommunication Networks (PSTNs) and future IP-based telecommunication devices. In addition, Kapanga offers several unmatched features such Voice and video over IP recording, fax auto-answering, real-time Quality of Service monitoring (MOS) and much more. So what can I do with Kapanga? Call and receive Voice and Video over IP calls. Make Kapanga-to- Kapanga or Kapanga-to-phone calls*. Kapanga can be great resource for any organization with IP-based PBX voice and videoconferencing. Send and receive faxes, right from your laptop or PC. In addition to placing calls or establishing videoconferencing, Kapanga enables you to send and receive faxes. When in auto-answer mode, Kapanga can also receive faxes automatically in the same way a standard fax machine does. Record calls in MP3 and video conferences in MPEG format. Keep track of important calls or videoconferences without the need of expensive equipment that is difficult to install. Measure VoIP Quality of Service in real-time. Kapanga calculates the Mean Opinion Score (MOS) parameter in real-time. MOS is a very useful measure of quality of service that goes beyond having just hearing "noise" or "chopping".
