CS Disco, Inc. Executive Summary Get to know the fastest-growing ediscovery solution in North America.
Hello. We re Disco. Our History Disco was initially developed at a litigation boutique in Houston. It was born out of the firm s frustration with conventional tools that were slow and difficult for lawyers to use. Instead of being forced to adapt our work methods to technology, we wanted to invent technology that works the way lawyers want to work. Disco was the result, and today our ediscovery software-as-a-service is the fastest-growing solution in North America. Disco for ediscovery, our first major innovation in legal technology, outperforms the competition on every important measure. Disco ediscovery is 10x faster and much easier to use so that lawyers are instantly productive. Since it was released in 2013, more than 300 law firms, enterprises, and government units, including 50 of the AmLaw 200, have used Disco ediscovery in major cases and investigations. With revenue growth over 20 percent month-over-month, Disco is the fastest-growing technology in ediscovery. Leveraging our turnkey, software-as-a-service delivery model, Disco releases new features and makes improvements nearly every week to maintain our industry leadership. And we are committed to achieving innovation in every other area of legal technology we enter. But the hallmark of a great technology company is not found in features or specifications. It is found in our customers trust in us. We aim to earn that trust by designing our technology solutions to perform the way great lawyers want and need them to perform. Disco is unique in that it combines world-class engineers with a deep love and respect for the law. We started with delivering a comprehensive ediscovery solution as a true Software as a Service or SaaS. This means there is no software to install or maintain in your IT infrastructure. No plugins or downloads in your browser to make it work. You simply log on to a website and start your review. This approach has delivered significant savings for our clients and given us the ability to scale on demand, something not possible with traditional on premise software. To deliver our unique SaaS, we incorporated next generation technology that use the same big data, No- SQL database technologies that power major search and social platforms. Other ediscovery platforms still rely on legacy search engines and SQL databases. These newer, more innovative technologies help enable us to deliver search performance that is 10 times faster than the competition. And we operate these technologies in Disco data centers that incorporate the newest high-performance servers that are much faster and more efficient than on-premise computing systems which can vary widely in performance and capabilities.
