project Why an APP? Florence offers a lot of wonderful routes and places, unknown by tourists and sometimes by citizens. How to reach as more people in movement as possible, providing them information about routes and places? APP for smart devices! 3

Activity section BMI, tracking, map view The App calculates the ideal weight, the Body Mass Index (BMI) and the burned calories depending on the intensity of the usual physical activity. To obtain that, the user must register personal information such as weight, height, sex, age and some more other body parameters. When tracking mode is activated the application shows current speed, traveled distance and consumed calories. Current position is continuously updated on the map. IMPORTANT: user must accept a disclaimer to access this functionality all information are stored anonymously in the Data Base all communications between app and web services are protected (https) 13
