2015 Commercial & Industrial Programs C&I Prescriptive Program (Electric & Gas)- The Prescriptive Program offers standard incentives to NIPSCO's C&I customers, who are making electric and natural gas energy efficiency improvements in existing buildings. Eligible customers include those currently billed under electric Rates 620, 621, 622, 623, 624, 625, 626, 632, 633, 634, 641 or 644 and natural gas Rates 421 or 425. Application available on www.nipsco.com C&I Custom Program (Electric & Gas)-The Custom Program will accommodate all measures not covered under the Prescriptive Program. Eligible customers include those currently billed under electric Rates 623, 624, 625, 626, 632, 633, 634 or 644 and natural gas Rates 421 or 425. Application available on www.nipsco.com 3
2015 Commercial & Industrial Programs C&I Small Business Direct Install Program (Electric & Gas)- Franklin Energy works directly with equipment contractors to standardize pricing and procedures, provide tools and advance training on the SBDI program, and improve customer satisfaction. The SBDI program process begins with a site survey completed by program staff for eligible customers currently billed under electric Rates 620, 621, 622 or 623 with a billed demand less than 200kW. Eligible natural gas customers are those currently billed under natural gas Rates 421 or 425. C&I School Audit Direct Install (Electric)- The School Audit Direct Install Program provides walk through energy assessments for eligible school customers and direct install measures, including vending machine controllers, CFL lamps, occupancy sensing power strips, lighting occupancy sensors, and LED EXIT signs. Eligible buildings include K-12 schools, both public and private, that are greater than ten (10) years old and are currently billed under electric Rates 623 or 624. This program is marketed slightly different because the schools are selected by the Major Accounts Management staff. 4
DSM Commercial Opt Out According to Senate Enrolled Act 340, eligible NIPSCO electric customers* have the opportunity to opt out of participation in NIPSCO's Energy Efficiency Program *Eligibility: Must have load measured with a demand meter at a single site with at least one meter constituting more than 1,000 kilowatts/one megawatt of electric capacity from NIPSCO for any billing period within the previous 12 months All forms must be received by November 15, 2015 to opt out effective January 1, 2016, November 15, 2016 to opt out effective January 1, 2017 and so on. 5

2015 Residential Programs Home Audit and Weatherization (Electric & Gas)- Energy assessment takes place, along with direct installation of energy savings measures (CFLs, LEDs, hot water pipe wrap, etc.) and a follow up appointment is scheduled for the weatherization services (Assessment is required before any weatherization measures will be completed). Elementary Education (Electric & Gas)- The NIPSCO Elementary Education Program goal is to deliver cost-effective gas and electric savings by influencing 5 th grade students and their families to focus on conservation and the efficient use of electricity and natural gas. Kit contains: CFLs, LEDs, kitchen and bathroom aerators, flow rate test bag, digital thermometer and showerhead. Energy Efficiency Rebate (Electric & Gas)- The Energy Efficiency Rebate Program will increase demand for energy efficient products through cash-back rebates designed to cover a portion of the incremental cost to upgrade to efficient technologies. In addition, the program will educate customers about the energy saving and non-energy benefits associated with efficient HVAC, insulation, air sealing & duct sealing and self-install products that reduce energy consumption. 8
2015 Residential Programs Residential New Construction (Electric & Gas)- The Residential New Construction program will produce long-term natural gas and electric energy savings by encouraging the construction of single family homes and duplexes that meet the Gold Star or Platinum Star tier levels defined by the HERS index. Rebates from the Residential New Construction Program may not be combined with the Energy Efficiency Rebate Program. Application available on www.nipsco.com Residential Lighting (Electric)- NIPSCO s Residential Lighting Program makes buying energy-efficient light bulbs even more affordable. From now through November 15, 2015, NIPSCO will have special pricing on select ENERGY STAR certified lighting. Customers will enjoy an instant discount at the register when they make a qualifying purchase and help save energy in the process! Limit is 10 packages per customer. See full list of participating retailers on www.nipsco.com Low Income Weatherization (Electric & Gas)- The program will provide customers with a comprehensive home energy assessment which will identify measures designed to improve home performance. Direct Installation of measures such as: air sealing, CFL bulbs, attic insulation, wall insulation, and water heater replacement will be delivered at no additional cost to the customer. 9
2015 Residential Programs AC Cycling (Electric or Combo)- This program was available for NIPSCO electric residential and small non residential customers that have an air conditioning unit or electric heat pump. December 1, 2014 was the last day for new enrollments Customers who enrolled prior to 12-1-14 will continue to receive a $10.00 credit between June and September Purpose: to reduce electric demand on extremely hot days It is not a "cost" savings program for customers but rather a demand savings program Energy Conservation OPower (Electric or Combo)-This program is designed to give customers a better understanding of how much energy they consume and compare their energy usage to similar households in their neighborhood. We have selected a group of residential customers to receive a Home Energy Report (at this time, customers cannot elect to be in the program on their own). Energy Efficiency CSRs have access to the Opower Administrative site, to update a customer s account or remove them from the program per their request. 10
