Vytautas Magnus University. Kaunas. Business practices center Vytautas Magnus University (VMU, Kaunas, Lithuania) initiates and supports business and academy experimental business development practices projects, that aim to prove concepts and relevance of new services and products and related business through demos co-created by multidisciplinary student groups together with business partners during one semester. Projects aim to establish and strengthen business-students, business-academy, business-business and academy-academy relationships. Together with regional academy, business and local governmental partners we are initiating Kaunas Demola center establishment, collaborating with Demola Network and similar regional academy-business co-creation centers. Technological innovations to be introduced into market need not only prove of technical availability concept. Proving of relevance should be done trough demos of new products and services targeting selected markets along to sustainable business models, readiness for new business management and first potential customers. VMU Business practices center builds a multidisciplinary student team with project relevant competences, facilitates project group and business partners co-creation activities. Business (private and public) partners supply project group with background (knowledge and resources) for the duration of project and may acquire shared license of project group results on pre-agreed terms while keeping license of results (excluding background) belonging to students.
