Getting Started Go to http://www.stealth.im/get (direct to AppStore) or type the keyword "Stealth" or "Stealth Chat" or Private Chats and Calls in AppStore. Tap "Register, enter your mobile phone number. Input the verification code which is sent to your phone number and wait until the verification process is complete. Note: If you have registered Stealth before using the same number on the same phone, then you don t need the verification code. It will register your account directly.. 4
Setup Profile Setup your profile picture. Tap Avatar and choose a picture from your device or take photo from camera. Picture will be displayed as your profile picture. Next, type your name and click "Save". Remember, Stealth requires you to set your profile name before continuing to the next step. 5
How to Setup your Password Secure Screen Display : Stealth will encrypt your screen when it s close, time-out or minimized. Create the password to protected all of your conversation and sharing data. Follow this Steps: 3 Create Password at least 4 characters, it can be combination of letters, numbers and/or symbols. Always remember your password to secure it. Re-type the password to confirm. Tap the eye symbol in the right side of the field to make sure that you have type the right password. Click Finish. Note: In case if you forget your picture Unlock, password will be used to reset picture lock, make sure you always remember it. 6
How to Unlock StealthChat Encrypted screen display to prevent unauthorized message/screen viewing. StealthChat will encrypt your screen when it s close, time-out or minimized. When StealthChat screen is encrypted, press and hold on anywhere on the screen, then put the password that you ve sets before. Picture Unlock Encrypted Screen Decrypted Screen Picture Unlock : A unique system on StealthChat that regulates the movement of encryption and decryption mode when exchanging messages or files according to the time set. Setup your Picture Lock Open encrypted screen. Tap on click here to switch to picture lock or switch to Picture Lock from Settings menu > Security Settings > Screen Lock (confirm password) > Picture Lock Note: User can also have password as screen lock (default after register). The screen lock time-out default are minute. However you can change it on settings menu. 7
How to Setup Automatically Lock Screen Stealth secure your screen with automatically locks or turns off the screen display when the app isn't being used. Basic Use Chat with Stealth 3 Start a new chat. Choose one of your friends or type part of your friends name in search field to find them on your friends list. After that, type your message in the text box and tap on the send button to send the message. Emoticon available on keyboard by tap the text box. 0
Basic Use Self-Destructing Messages Start a confidential chat using the Burn feature. Need more privacy for your secrets? Activate the burn timer from 'active chat view (displayed next to time-stamp) or settings menu. Choose the burn time from minute, 5 minutes, 0 minutes, 30 minutes, hour, hours, 4 hours. You can also choose Never if you want to keep it on your history. The burn timer starts when the recipient reads the message. Once the message has burnt, there is no way to get it back!
Basic Use Send Picture 3 Tap + icon on the active chat screen. Choose a picture from the Gallery or take a new picture using the camera. Pictures sent by stealth are download proof. However you can still view them in the full screen. If you delete your chat session you cannot get the picture back.
Basic Use Open New Chat When you received a new message, Stealth will show a notification in the chats screen. A notification will also appear above the text box if you receive a new message when you are reading earlier messages in the active chat. 3
Basic Use End Chat Open Chats list. Hold and Swipe to the left on the contact that you want to end or clear the chat conversation. Choose Cancel to keep it or choose OK to end the chat. 4
Basic Use Mark Read Now Stealth come with a new and faster way to easily mark all unread messages as read at once. This feature will be help you choose to select all conversations or one by one to mark as read especially if you have more than one unread messages. Mark Read : Open Chats list. Hold and Swipe to the left on the contact that you want to end or clear the chat conversation. Then Tap Mark Read Mark Read All : Choose Cancel to keep it or choose OK to end the chat. 5
Basic Use Add & Invite Friends Stealth automatically synchronizes your friends, so that when your friend installs Stealth they will automatically be added to your list of contacts. If your friend is using Stealth but is not in your phonebook, you can add them manually. Add Friends: Click Add Friends icon on the top right of corner in friend list page. Input your friend s phone number and tap Add. If your friend is using Stealth then it will suggest you to save the number as a contact. Invite Friends: Send an invitation to your friends from the Phonebook. Tap Invite Friends > SMS > type your friends name that you want to invite directly. Choose Yes to continue or Cancel if you don t want to proceed. You can also send an invitation from your account email, twitter and facebook by Tap Invite Friends button. Attention: The invitation is sent by SMS and may incur additional charges. 6
Privacy Settings Delete Contact Stealth is really concerned about your privacy. That s why Stealth puts all of the control into your hands. Stealth provides many privacy settings so that you can choose to delete and block annoying people at anytime. 3 Press and swipe to the left on contact. Choose Delete when you see page option. Choose Ok to continue, or choose Cancel to go back to Friends List. The Delete Friends function helps you to erase unwanted contacts from your Friends List. Note: If you delete friends but it s still on your phonebook, then it will be re-added and you can just block that unwanted contact 7
Privacy Settings Block Contact Use Block Contact if you don t want to receive chat or anything from a particular Friend. You can unblock a contact you've previously blocked. Note: Important to know: After blocking a friend you will never get new chat from them. 8
Update Profile and Personal Message Update Profile and Personal Message You can change your profile name and profile picture and you can also update your status on your Stealth profile at any time. 3 4 Just tap Avatar on the top left corner of the screen. The edit profile screen will appear then you can type a new name that you want. Click on the avatar to choose a new profile picture from your gallery or camera. Tap Save to finish. The Status helps you to express your personal message. Just enter whatever is on your mind! Tap Done and your new status will be displayed on for your Stealth friends. 9
