A Growing Bulk Carrier Company d Amico operates a fleet of dry bulk vessels providing world-wide seaborne transportation services to its clients, covering all main trade routes The core fleet, focused on Panamax, Supramax and Open Hatch/Box Shaped Handy size vessels, consists of a mixture of owned and long term time chartered vessels, primarily built in Japan and Korea. For operations in the spot market, it also employs third party tonnage Today we operate a fleet of around 60 vessels d Amico transports most bulk commodities, including grain, fertilizers, steel, steel pipes, forest products, etc. A large proportion of the fleet carries coal and iron ore d Amico Dry newbuilding program: new handymax expected in 2014-2015 Our dry cargo chartering and operations activities are managed by our offices in Dublin, Monaco, Singapore, Vancouver and Stamford. 4
A Pure Product Tanker Player The product tanker business is operated by d Amico International Shipping (listed at Milan Stock Exchange). The Fleet consists of about 40 Handy size/medium Range (MR) product tankers/chemical vessels, whose average age of 5.1 years vs. industry of 9.3 years. All vessels are double-hull and fully in compliance with stringent rules. The vessels are primarily engaged in the transportation of refined oil products, providing worldwide and long term shipping services to major oil companies and trading houses. The product tankers fleet (67.5%2 IMO classed) allows d Amico to also transport a large range of products, being a key-player in alternative commodities like palm oil and other vegetable oils. Strategic commercial alliances with key commodities market players: a significant portion of the vessels are operated through Pool agreements and Joint Ventures, enabling to flexible deploy a fleet with large scale and geographic coverage, providing a comprehensive service to the customers. Newbuildings program: in 2012 two new vessels have been delivered 5
Shipping Services d Amico also provides the following shipping services to Group companies and to third parties: Group Vessels Crewing & Technical Management: Crew management is handled by Sirius Ship Management in Genoa (Italy). The technical management of the owned fleet, coordinated by d Amico Società di Navigazione (Holding Company based in Rome) has the primary function of managing the technical and operational matters. Third Parties Ship Management: d Amico provides a full ship management service through its wholly owned subsidiary Ishima Pte Ltd., based in Singapore. Ishima provides cost-effective ship management solutions with utmost importance given to safety, life and environmental protection. Agencies: d Amico maintains relationships with a worldwide network of agencies, which support its liner and bulk carrier activities and assists vertical integration processes. Bunker Purchasing: Rudder, through its offices in Monaco, Singapore and Buenos Aires, manages bunker purchasing operations for the Group and Third Parties. Telecommunications: Telemar SpA is one of the leading worldwide operators supplying maritime telecommunication and electronic navigation services since 1947. 6
