Director, Hearing Conservation Program for developing and implementing the campus-wide Hearing Conservation Plan as required for compliance with the Occupational Health Safety Administration (OSHA). Community Hearing Screening (October 2008, 2009, 2010). Coordinate and supervise auditory (hearing) screenings for approximately 100 Schuyler County Head Start pre-school students. Screenings in 2008 incorporated otoacoustic emissions (OAE) screening, the most advanced and universally accepted state-ofthe art auditory hearing screening technology. Reviewer (by invitation) of applications for the 2008 and 2009 Audiology/Hearing Science Research Travel Award (ARTA) sponsored by ASHA. Winners in three research doctoral or postdoctoral settings received a travel stipend to the annual ASHA convention. Review criteria included curriculum vitae detailing research and clinical activities, a two-page essay describing research interests and any further research goals in audiology or hearing science, and a letter of recommendation from the primary mentor.
