Connect PLEXTEL IP-PBX to SKYPE Connect SKYPE Connect is one of the service of SKYPE, this service are designed for the business user, which allow the SKYPE to integrated with IP-PBX of the customer. With the skype connect, you can allow any SKYPE users to call to your office s extensions number and you can allow the office extensions number to call to PSTN pass-through the SKYPE out services. One limitation of the SKYPE connect is it will not allow office extensions number to call to SKYPE uses. Requirement of how to use skype connect. 1. You must have certify SIP based IP-PBX. (Asterisk, Plextel, Avaya, etc) 2. You must have Internet connectivity, which allow to use the SKYPE service. (You can test by running simple skype program) 3. You must register for the SKYPE manager. 4. You must pay approximate $7 per 1 concurrent call/month to use the SKYPE connect service. 5. You must create one SKYPE business account per one extensions number mapping, or you can use only one account to your entire office. 6. You must be able to configure your IP-PBX, such as creation of the SIP trunk, call routing, DID number setting, etc. How to use SKYPE Manager, 1. Create account for SKYPE Manager. 2. Log in to SKYPE manager.

How to create Business Account (used for DID function) 1. Go to Members and click on the Add members

2. Select Create business accounts 3. Type in the Email address of the user to add, this can be business email address.

4. Confirm for the SKYPE name and Email Address mapping and click Create Account How to map Business User Account to Office telephone number (used for DID function) 1. Click on Dashboard -> Skype Connect

2. Select Incoming Call menu 3. To add a new mapping number select the Add a number or business account menu

4. Add Business account mapping type in the Business Account which need to map in the Add an existing business account box type in the Office IP-PBX extensions number in the Extensions number box

การต งค า PLEXTEL IP-PBX เพ อใช งานร วมก บ SKYPE-Connect 1. การต งค า SIP trunk a. ทาการเพ ม SIP trunk โดยไปท Voice Interface -> SIP Trunk Setting และ กดเล อก ป ม Add SIP Trunk b. ต งค าท จาเป น ด วต อไปน Type = SIP Account Sip Server Address = sip.skype.com Tel Number/Username = account name from skype connect Password = ค า password ท ได จาก skype connect Allow Incoming = yes Concurrent Call Support = number of concurrent call subscribe with skype connect Advanced Setting = yes type = peer Qualify = No NAT = Yes Can Reinvite = No In Secure = Invite DTMF mode = rfc2833 Codec = G.729 Server PORT = 5060

2. การต งค าการร บสายเข า เราสามารถท จะทาการ forward call จาก Skype ไปย ง ต สาขาได ในท กฟ งก ช น ใน ต วอย างถ ดไปจะเป นการต งค าเพ อทาการ forward skype ในแต ละ account ไปย งเบอร ตรงของแต ละผ ใช งานใน ต สาขาได ท นท การต งค าไปย ง Incoming Call กด Add New Incoming Call ทาการเล อกค าตามท ต องการ Trunk = ช อ skype trunk ท ได สร างตามข อท 1 Support DID = yes ;เพ อท เราจะสามารถท จะ แยกแต ละ skype business user ออกจากก นได โดยอ สระ Incoming DID = ค าท เราต งค าไว ใน skype connect ในแต ละ account เช นต วอย างด านล างจะเป นเบอร 1002

When = ช วงเวลาท ต องการ Destination = ปลายทางท เราต องการท จะส งสายไปถ ง ซ งอาจเป น เบอร extension, เมน เส ยง IVR, ห องประช ม หร ออ นๆ Value = ค าตาม Destination ท เล อกด านบน จากต วอย างด านบนจะเห นว าในกรณ ท ม คนโทรมาย ง skype account ท ม การต งค า extensions number เป น 1008 จะทาการ โยนสายไปท extension ในต สาขาเบอร 1008 ในท กๆ ช วงเวลา ซ งเราจะต องทาอย างน ก บท กๆ skype account ท เราได ทาการสร างขข นมา 3. Additional setup for PLEXTEL a. Advanced -> PBX Advanced Setting -> SIP Advanced Config Default SIP expirey time should be 3600 b. after finish setup, please reboot the server one more time

4. Current Problem i. the DID function will not work correctly on PLEXTEL version prior than 2.2.14, so to fix the problem, please follow the following instruction ii. in Manual Config -> SIP add context=incoming_did_sipaccount iii. in Call Features -> New Features click on Add new Features Name = incoming_did_sipaccount Feature Code = include => in%%trunk%%sip%%skype ; where SKYPE is the SIP trunk name
