22. - 25 October 2013, Tønsberg, Norway 31 st international North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop The world premier event for flow measurement of oil and gas Papers covering the latest technology developments Exhibitors show their latest cutting edge technologies

31 st international North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop Welcome On behalf of the Technical Committee it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 31st International North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop The premier world venue for measurement technology The objective of the conference is to maintain its position as the premier world venue for presentations and discussions of measurement technology related to the oil and gas industry. The workshop s main focus is on the practical application of this technology. As in recent years the number of high quality abstracts has been exceptional and highly relevant for the scope of the workshop. The technical committee is confident that the final program contains topics which will be found very relevant for all working with flow measurement of oil and gas. All presentations and posters are supported by a written paper. Addressing challenges and latest developments Multiphase metering has played an important role in marginal field development. In this year s workshop program you will find both presentations and posters covering the KEY INFORMATION Time and venue: 22-25 October 2013, Tønsberg, Norway Technical Committee Chairman: Eivind Lyng Soldal, Statoil ASA, Norway Dag Hendrik Flølo, Statoil ASA, Norway Rolf Skatvedt, Trainor, Norway Per Lunde, University of Bergen and CRM, Norway Morten Marstein, FMC Kongsberg Metering, Norway Steinar Fosse, Norwegian Petroleum Directorate Craig Marshall, TUV NEL, UK Douglas Griffin, Department of Energy & Climate Change, UK Delegate fees Member of Tekna: NOK 8500,- Non members: NOK 9500,- Speakers: NOK 4750,- Exhibitors Standard NOK 20 000,- in addition to delegate fee. Exhibitors Plus NOK 25 000.- FULLY BOOKED latest development and field experience within multiphase metering. Ultrasonic meters are widely used for oil and gas measurement, and hence the program will cover a wide range of applications for this technology. Areas that are covered stretches from gas to heavy oil. Metering engineers also face other challenges related to e.g. allocation, high viscosity, cone meters, coriolis meters, cold products, sampling and uncertainty. Presentations will be held to address these subjects as well. Due to the high number of excellent abstracts the poster session is extended to include 6 posters. Topics that are addressed are subsea sampling, multiphase metering and ultrasonic metering. The poster session offers a unique possibility to discuss the different topics with the presenters. Main topics of the program Multiphase metering Allocation Oil metering Gas measurement Liquefied natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas Uncertainty Manufacturers exhibition Many manufacturers and service companies presents their products at stands during the workshop. Hence the workshop provides an excellent opportunity to get in touch with different suppliers of metering equipment and measurement solutions. Networking opportunities The format of the workshop is as always informal and encourages discussions. This creates an ideal environment for informal dialogue with your business connections and a great opportunity to make new ones. At the workshop you will find key personnel from regulators, operators, manufacturers, research institutions and engineering companies. Take this unique opportunity to get updated on state of the art technology within oil and gas measurement. I m looking forward to meet you in Norway in October 2013. All prices will be added 25% Vat. Includes web based documentation. Hotel costs exclusive. Registration www.teknakurs.no/intconf kurs@tekna.no Phone +47 22 94 75 60/61 Yours sincerely Eivind Lyng Soldal Chairman of NSFMW 2013
