OBJECTIVE To positively impact peoples' lives physically, mentally, socially and emotionally, through training, teaching of life skills such as exercising, quitting drugs, healthy eating, weight management, and positive thinking for wellness. PROFESSIONAL PROFILE I have 25 years experience in teaching, instructing, designing, training and managing sports programmes at university level. To this end has been a holistic approach and management of the individual and group (team) programmes to attain favourable wellness and competition goals.. My skills in instruction, facilitation, supervision and continuous evaluation of individual and team progress have contributed to success in my work. In 2007, I resigned from Egerton University where I was a Senior Tutor and Head, Sports and Department. I then joined University of Nairobi with the aim of diversifying and sharpening my teaching, technical and administrative skills in a more diverse way. Lately, I have enhanced the psychological domain of my career in order to give professional diagnosis and intervention to my students and clients for psychological stability and wellness.. This is through furthering my studies in the field of counseling psychology. As a volunteer I have been offering individual and group therapy to various institutions and individuals requiring psychological support in our society. These include rehabilitation schools for delinquent boys and girls, Children Remand Homes, Drug Rehabilitation Centres and widows organizations.
