Promotes healing across the spectrum of wounds you treat with NPWT Acute/Tramatic Chronic Sub-acute and dehisced Ulcers (pressure and diabetic) Partial-thickness burns Flaps and grafts Soft Port with foam dressing 49 year-old male patient, 185cm, 170Kg Diabetic, hypertension, fully mobile and active Incision and drainage of abscess on the nuchal area by a general surgeon Wound duration at initial presentation 10 days Initial wound size 7cm (l) 0.2cm (w) 2.1cm (d) Moderate levels of sero-sanguineous exudate, deep cavity with irregular contour Soft Port placed directly over wound at an angle, so the Soft Port tail would pass down the patients clothing easily. Progress in wound leading to change to a lower acuity dressing (dry gauze and film). Outcome: Wound completely closed post 21 days NPWT therapy and 1 week of conventional dressings. Soft Port with gauze dressing 61 year-old male patient, 178cm, 94.3Kg Prior smoker, peripheral vascular disease, mobile with aid (crutches) Achilles tendon rupture and calcaneus fracture surgically repaired Patient developed a lower extremity ulcer vasculitic component post-surgical repair of tendon rupture and calcaneus fracture Wound duration at initial presentation 27 weeks Initial wound size 7cm (l) x 2cm (w) x 0.8cm (d) Soft Port placed directly over wound and eliminated the need to bridge-away.
