Hereʼ s the price list. What does this price cover? It covers the car rental fee and insurance. Please fill the tank when you return the car. He asks at a rental car counter. : Hi, Iʼ d like to rent a car. Do you have any available cars? Rental car clerk: Certainly. Do you have a reservation? : No, I donʼ t have. Rental car clerk: No problem, sir. We have several cars. What size would you like? : A small car would be fine. Iʼ ll just use it for myself. Rental car clerk: Certainly. We have an available small car. Hereʼ s the price list. : What does this charge cover? Rental car clerk: It covers the car rental fee and insurance. : How about the gasoline fee? 2

Rental car clerk: It is out of the coverage. Please fill the tank when you return the car. : Alright. And... Can I drive a car with this international driving permit? Rental car clerk: Sure, sir. : Okay, thanks. Iʼ ll rent it for a week. Rental car clerk: Thank you very much. Could you fill in this from? Iʼ ll arrange the car shortly. : Alright, thanks. 3

Rent- a- car clerk: Iʼ m afraid to say, but we only have left- hand drive cars. Customer : Itʼ s okay. Which are available? Rent- a- car clerk: Would a Toyota Camry be alright? Customer : That sounds fine. How would it cost? Rent- a- car clerk: Its daily rate is 35 dollars. Customer : What does it? Rent- a- car clerk: It includes unlimited mileage and full insurance. 4

Customer : Perfect. I hire it now? Rent- a- car clerk: Certainly, I just need to in this form. Just a moment. Customer : Sure. Hereʼ s my passport and my international driverʼ s. Rent- a- car clerk: Thank you. How will be paying for the car? Customer : Iʼ ll pay for it with my visa card. Here is. Rent- a- car clerk: Thank you, a safe trip! 5
