INTRODUCTION Dear Business Partners, We are proud to issue the new catalogue of STROJFERR s.r.o. which was established in 1997 as a genuinely Czech company. In its activities and production programme, the company continues the many years of engineering tradition in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí. It focuses mainly on the production of mining machinery and equipment and other industrial equipment. On the market, the company operates as a medium-sized manufacturer and sub-supplier of engineering products and components. The production programme of the company, which is a founder member of the Moravian- Silesian Machinery Cluster, focuses on mining machinery and equipment, their service and repair including spare parts, customised engineering production and the services of mechanical working, surface finishing, thermal treatment and production of jigs and moulds. Our business partners mainly appreciate the quality of our products and the flexibility of our reaction to their requirements, including our capability to observe the required delivery dates. The company has developed production and technical facilities in mechanical engineering and locksmith s production. The company holds the ISO 9001:2002 certificate and other certificates necessary in order to provide the system and operational quality required by our customers. During recent years, the company has invested significant resources in the maintenance and renovation of buildings, production facilities, new production technologies and supporting facilities. Other innovative actions include the foundation of a development centre, designed to provide existing as well as future customers with new products with a high practical value, mainly in the mining industry. In the field of education we have invested in the foundation of a training centre, where our employees as well as the employees of external companies increase their professional qualifications. Weldments: We produce custom-made welded components in a design and scope corresponding to technological potentials of our plants and awarded certifications. Rotational components: We produce shafts, flanges, pivots, wheels and cogwheels in agreement with our manufacturing potentials. Gearing: We produce internal and external spur gearing with straight and helical gear and grind the teeth in agreement with technological potentials of our machinery.

Cutting: We provide external services of our material preparation department. Flame cutting on a CNC flame cutter (powerful oxyacetylene and plasma cutting). Cutting of bars, pipes and sections on belt saws. Shearing of materials on mechanical plate shears Production of fixtures and tools: We provide external services of our toolroom section.
