Asst.Prof.Dr. Meltem DEMİRCİ KATIRANCI RESUME Asst. Prof. Dr. Meltem KATIRANCI graduated from the Gazi University Department of Fine Art Education in 1993, and became a research assistant in the Pamukkale University Department of Fine Art Education in 1994. In 1996, she completed her Master s degree in the Department of Fine Art Education in the Social Sciences Institute at Pamukkale University, and in 2004 she completed her doctorate at the Education Sciences Institute in Gazi University. Asst. Prof. Dr. Meltem KATIRANCI has worked in numerous official and private institutions and organizations. Her artworks have been exhibited in many mixed and group shows, and she has had seven solo exhibitions. Artist members of International Visual Arts Education Institute (INSEA) and the Association of the owners Turkey Works of Fine Arts (GESAM). She speaks fluent in Arabic, Ottoman and English. She has made an art consultant in Turkey Radio and Television Corporation, Turkmeneli Television and the Ministry of Education. She has continued her scientific and artistic research as part of work as an Assistant Professor at the Gazi University Department of Fine Art Education, a role which commenced in 1997.
