1 May 2015 HASAN ŞAHBAZ (Turkey) / IAC Application BIOGRAPHY Born in Aksehir/Konya in Mr. Şahbaz graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Fine arts, Department of Ceramics in Just after he had completed his undergraduate education, he started to work as a Lecturer in Afyon Kocatepe Universty, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics. He completed his master s degree with a graduation thesis called Minimalism in Modern Ceramic Art at Anadolu University, Institute of Social Sciences Ceramics Department in Mr. Şahbaz has been the head of department and the head of Ceramics Art Major for 3 years after he was the co-head of department for 1 year in the department where he has been working. He has hold 8 solo exhibition since his graduation, and attended a lot of national and international biennials, symposiums, workshops and exhibitions. His works were involved in private and public collections. He attended in symposiums in Japan, Latvia, Finland and Turkey as a guest artist. Mr. Şahbaz who is a member of Turkish Association of Ceramics has been continuing his studies in Afyon Kocatepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics since 2001.
