1 Prof. Dr. İsmet Vildan ALPTEKİN Department of Landscape Architecture Prof. Dr. Ismet Vildan Alptekin, completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Ankara University in He completed a doctoral thesis with honor in 1970 and received the title of '' Doctor'' with "Necessary Studies in Terms of Development of Van Lake Landscape" titled thesis. Mr. Alptekin got a certificate from V. Degree (Literature Française) in Ecole International de Langue Et de Civilisation Français (International School of Language and Civilization) in 1972, in Paris. In 1974, he graduated from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Paysage Landscape Architect and he got the title of Landscape Architect. He became an associate professor in 1978 by completing the research titled " Recreation Potential of Eastern Anatolia Region Northern Sector and Determination of Principles in terms of Recreational systems in Terms of Winter Sports. He was appointed to a professorship at Fine Arts Faculty in Mimar Sinan University in He has contributed to several PhD, Master and professor assignment juries at Fine Arts Faculty in Mimar Sinan University of Istanbul Technical University, Yildiz Technical University and Ankara University and conducted theses. Academic studies: research on urban and rural landscape architecture, including more than fifty surveys, articles, conferences, lecture notes, translations, declarations, scientific reports. Several landscape projects and applications such as holiday camps, fair areas, campuses, memorials, cultural parks, sports areas, a ski resort, hotels, factories, housing estates, historical buildings and arboretums.
